Right now I'm riding on my indoor trainer, getting an hour in once a week, [and getting 2 hours on the recumbent stationary bike per week, but I don't log those] 4th-11.71miles 10th- 12.05miles Trying to work up to the 400+ mile week long ride RAGBRAI in July

Not to ask an obvious question but...when setting up the watch did you input your age, weight, height into the settings? That may help for a better read

If you're more active than you've set in your MFP profile the Fitbit will give you calorie adjustments for the extra exercise. Check out the Fitbit users group/forum, there's tons of info posted

Stats: Mission 5 completed Able pop. 121 total miles 18.33 total time 233 min running longer and getting faster every time :)

My 1st 5k is this August, I'm training for the Run For Your Life, Zombie Obstacle course. So far, I can run 3 miles in 38min,<walk/jog/ sprint intervals] but this is only my 2nd week training. Good luck with your training. For me, the hardest part is shutting down the self sabotaging monkey chatter in my brain. ps I'm 35

My husband & I both have Fitbits, and we love them! We compete for steps taken & stairs climbed in a day, and as silly as the badges are it's good motivation to try to earn them. I weigh every morning after I wake up and post it. I like it because it shows me my daily trends...(discovered I gain during my work 'week' and lose on my days off). But, I track once a week to make sure I'm meeting my weekly goals of 1.5 lbs a week.
