  • We both were in a show together on stage for community theater. Neither of us wanted to do that show, but, boy, are we glad we did!
  • I was at 160 at 5'6" when I first started on here. Feb 1 155.4 lbs Feb8 153.4 lbs 2 lbs in the first week - woo hoo!
  • I am 5'6" and was 178 about 3 or 4 years ago. Got down to about 150, then some pounds started creeping up again and went up to 165. Got down to 160 when I started this and now I'm at 153! Trying to get to 145 and sustain! This has been great to work with and I see progress most weeks since I've joined. Great job everyone!
  • Yes! Although most don't have too many calories, fiber and other things count, too. Plus, little things count and can add up quickly. Some fruits especially have more calories than I thought! Weighing them is a great way to make sure it's the right amount too. I've been shocked before.
  • I love the Think Thin bars. They have 0g of Sugar (5g Sugar Alcohol) and 20 g of protein per bar! Their snack bars are good, too - 6g protien for 100 calories! I like the white chocolate, peanut butter, but have tried the lemon ones and they were awful. I'm not a huge chocolate person (I know...it's weird I've heard) so…
  • Yes! Keep at it - it's easy to get discouraged, but it sometimes takes a little time to get your body on track with your mind (and vice versa). Ugh...water weight! Check on your sodium. And, if you can, measure and weigh your foods. I started to do that and it was amazing what I thought a bowl of cereal really was! It…
  • They aren't for everyone (so I'm told, but I like them) - roasted chick peas (garbanzo beans!)! Crunchy, salty, and spicy! http://pictureloveoffood.blogspot.com/2011/12/roasted-chick-peas.html Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter
  • CW: 155.4 lbs GW: 145 lbs (sure, I'd love to be that at the end of the month!) I do Wii Fit almost everyday I can - varied exercises. I also walk - in snow and slush - a few times a week. I do strength training with weights. If it snows more this winter I go snowshoeing and downhill skiing, too. I'm going to NYC on Feb 19,…
  • I am and it's great to do something at home with little room and little time. I also do the EA Sports video, which really works out everything with lots of lunges and squats. I lost 25 lbs initially with the Wii Fit helping (and lots of walking and biking outdoors in the summer). I gained 10 lbs back when I found I didn't…

  • I have a big sweet tooth! But, when I put the ingredients in to this site, I put both boxes of dried mix in and got 26 servings - about 140 calories per cake. Still better than prepared of regular cake mix (half) and easy to make single servings (my husband's not into sweets). I used butter pecan and angle food cake. Maybe…
