I've just always hated the compliment, "You're cute... for a big girl." I never knew how to respond to that. It's not completely rude, but it isn't that nice either. Other than that, I've gotten the pregnant thing a few times. One girl even had the audacity to touch my stomach.

I went to undergrad at Spelman College. Spelman is a small, private school for women of African descent. Now, I'm at the University of Georgia working on my Masters in Public Health (go figure lol). I love both schools for very different reasons, but the transition was initially difficult.

My goal is to go from 263lbs to 185lbs by the time I turn 25, so I have about 13 months to reach this goal. Eventually, I would like to be 165lbs. I'm ready to embark on this journey and look forward to sharing my experiences with all of you.
