The nutrition label should show you what the Carb/Fat/Protein is per serving.

There is a theory that yawning is a reflex when their is a build up of CO2 in the blood, our bodies attempt to force us to intake more Oxygen. Studies have not been able to prove this theory though. I often yawn during a run or other high intensity exercise.

The best advice I can give you is look for a beginner yoga class in your area. I don't like to recommend videos or do it at home instructions for beginners. It is so important that you have a trained yogi there to help you learn each pose. Don't worry about limited flexibility, yoga on a regular basis will fix that up…

The MFP exercise database grossly over estimates on most things. I don't trust it at all. I use my HRM for all exercise. Also, IMO cleaning doesn't count as exercises its a part of life. But to each their own, track it if you wish.

I would highly doubt it is the water.

A BMR of 2,000 sounds too high. I think you may be confusing BMR with TDEE. What are you stats? Age, Weight, Height, Sex, Activity level (not including exercise, just your day to day activities like going to work and housekeeping)?
-
NET If you are eating only your BMR then do any kind of activity (even a light walk), you are not leaving enough calories for your body to perform its basic functions. You may not notice the harm you are doing right away, but you will in the long run. This isn't a race, fuel your body, take your time, and get healthy (not…

Diary is still private. Few thoughts without being able to look: 1. If your sugar is coming from natural sources, fruit for example. Don't worry about it too much. Its when the sugar is coming from candy and cookies that you should be concerned about controlling the snacking. 2. Sodium is a hard one, I struggle with it…

Not sure about the penny taste, but try to drink water while jogging. There are tons of different kinds of bottles for running, even some that attach to a belt so you don't need to hold it in your hands.

You do need to wash the Polar straps regularly. Especially if you sweat a lot. I rinse mine in water after every use, and try to wash with soap at least once a week. I also make sure to rinse is very well if I wear it in the pool to get all the chemicals off. Any time I have had an issue with my Polar HRM connecting or…

Did you have water with you?

A lower heart rate during exercise is a good thing. It means your heart is getting stronger and doesn't need to beat so much to do the same amount of work. You should check your resting heart rate every so often and update the HRM settings accordingly. As for the 00 displaying sometimes, be sure you are cleaning the strap…

You need to at least NET your BMR. You can increase calories without eating "more". There are tons of high calorie HEALTHY foods that you can add to your meal plan. The bottom line is if you are not eating enough your body is not going to be happy with you and you will pay for it in the end.
-
Also be sure you are cleaning the strap after each workout session. I noticed mine was giving wacky readings when I neglected to clean it properly.

There is a line that can be crossed I'm sure. A doctor or personal trainer may know the exact point where this line might be. My personal feeling is to not ask yourself if burning 1500 calories is too much, but ask yourself why you need to workout that much. Are you training for something? A race, or other sport? If you…

I normally just guess. Most restaurants use a lot of butter, oil and full fat dairy, so I will pick something from the database that is higher in fat.

I would agree being under your goal isn't always a good thing. It depends how much you are under. The same goes for being over, its not always bad to be over. I wish the message on the news feed would call out if you were within a certain range of your goal +/- 100 calories or something.
-
Just about every female starts on MFP with 1200. I stopped using the "guided" goal setting long ago. I use Scooby's calculator to find my goal and manually set MFP. http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator/ Like a previous responder said: Find BMR and TDEE set goal somewhere in between. 10-20% is the normal…

If you are eating at a deficit you will lose weight, working out or not.

I use my HRM for swimming. Polar RS100. I had issues with it connecting at first too. The trick I learned is to adjust the strap tighter then I normally would for out of water workouts. That has cleared up any issue for me.

I agree that day to day activities shouldn't be counted, but for some people something as simple as walking around walmart is exercise for them. If you are morbidly obese just a slow walk is about all you can do and gets their heart rate up just as much as a "true" workout would for a fitter person. I try not to discredit…

If you are in better shape/weigh less you will burn less calories. Also, I would suspect they are using the MFP exercise database numbers which are largely overestimated on most exercises. While HRM are still estimates, they are more accurate estimates. I recommend anyone who is serious about getting in shape invest in…

What a crazy cat. Mine just walk along the edge. I fear the day she falls in by mistake.

This might get a better response in the Fitness section. This is the Tech Support area.

The Vampire Diaries. Its a huge teenage drama with vampires thrown in. My only excuse is Ian Somerhalder.

Weight - 215 lbs Height - 62in Age - 30 BF% - 51% (I know, I know I'm working on it) Activity Level - Lightly Active BMR = 1404 TDEE = 1930 Goal (-20% TDEE) = 1544 http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator/ MFP started me out at 1200 as well. There was no way I could stick to that for more than a day and not…
