  • Fresh lime juice with tequila and sweet n low. Kind of like a margarita!
  • I like all of the Balance Bars but I am not sure if they have many without nuts... those are the ones I always buy.
  • Congrats to everyone on their achievements! I actually RAN! All 5Ks: Warrior Dash in June (50 mins). The Color Run in July (38 mins). Race 4 Education in October (36.5 mins). Turkey Trot in November (35 mins). And I loved every minute of it! My other fitness goal of 2012 was to get up on one ski (water skiing) and I DID!…
  • Thanks! I will look it up. I did the Warrior Dash last year with little training and finished in under an hour. Just have fun! The obstacles weren't that bad, I only had trouble with one. I'm short- 5'2 and my hubby had to help me out of water that was over my head and up onto a floating platform. Your training sounds…
  • Very cool! I don't have any advice, but I am working on getting ready for an obstacle race too! What are you doing for training?
  • I am 5'2, currently weigh 130. I wear a size 4-8, depending on the brand. This is interesting!
  • Looks good! I will have to try this weekend. Thanks!
  • Use part of a day of the weekend to make something that will last for lunches for the week. I love making soups from Skinnytaste.com and having the leftovers for the week. I know it is hard- I'm a doctoral student and I work and I'm married... You have to keep in mind why you want this! It seems like you will be there for…
  • These are fantastic! I made a half batch and added a little cinnamon, honey and vanilla. I ate them for breakfast with a little bit of peanut butter for some protein! So good! Thanks for posting!!
  • Hi all! I am starting again too after months of a frustrating plateau! I am doing a big race in April and want to be in the best shape of my life for it! Good luck everyone!! We can do this!
  • I have recently started this program. I just wanted to know how long it usually took people to see results? I totally feel stronger and am able to life heavier now (I am on workout 5B of Phase 1) but I don't see changes yet. I measure myself and also take pictures once a month. I am not complaining at ALL, I am just…
  • When I make tuna salad I use Laughing Cow cheese wedges (creamy swiss) instead of mayo. It gives it a much better taste!
  • I am 5'2 130 lbs. It is often difficult to compare to others but I like mybodygallery.com for some ideas!
  • I mix a pouch of low sodium tuna with one laughing cow cheese wedge and some relish. You could put it on a salad or in a lettuce wrap. I like mine with crackers. Yum.
  • Congrats on finishing! I am registered for the one in Ohio in April. I am so excited even though I know it will be brutal. Training now!!
  • Awesome job to anyone that has lost weight so far! I haven't lost any yet. I ordered The new rules of lifting for women and can't wait to get started doing more strength training. I do some now but am SO ready to get more going on! Strong getting stronger!
  • Yes! I am in! I LOVE Halloween! Starting weight: 129 Goal weight: 124? I don't care so much about the actual number.. I want to lower my % bf. Around 25% now, would like to get to 22% for Halloween! Good Luck to everyone! Can't wait to see everyone in their costumes!
  • I totally agree with what most people have said. Getting a trainer is the best thing I have ever done. I learned proper form, great nutrition, good workouts, etc... She also keeps me going like everyone else said, I would have quit without her! Also, she gives me inspiration. My trainer is an amazing woman that works hard…
  • My husband and I are thinking of doing it in October in KY. I'm very nervous too! How is anyone training?
  • I love this! It was delicious!
