I feel so bad today :( I have depression, and sometimes it gets the better of me and I either don't want to eat anything or I want to stuff my face and today I stuffed my face. So binge eating for me is an emotional thing, otherwise I'm quite good at avoiding the unhealthy food, but sometimes a girl craves chocolate/ I had…

I have so many crushes and every so often someone says something stupid (thank you Twitter) and there goes my lady boner! Anyway, Ryan Gosling and Zac Efron at the moment :) Oh and Angelina Jolie.

How is everyone going to count their days? just as normal: everything before 12am - the day before, after 12am a new day? First Iftar will be about 9:50pm here. So I break my fast, have breakfast etc maybe a snack around 11pm, lunch around 12:30, another snack around 1am and dinner before sahur. I don't know if I'll have…

Tetley Classic Green Tea, then Tesco Peanut Butter 25% Less Fat, PG Tips Green Tea (I usually buy whatever green tea is on offer lol) and then apple, which I have everyday in my porridge (natural sweetener!)

On the top of the website, if you've signed in that is you'll have different links to click on like my home, food, exercise. Well click on food, and then under that click recipes and click on the recipe calculator. Add all your ingredients into the list, for example 1 cup chicken broth or 200g chicken breast etc make sure…

Tandoori Chicken or Chicken Tikka, plain boiled rice or chapati/tandoori roti instead of calorific Naan (Oh how I miss you naan). Stay off the creamy nutty curries, go for the tomato-onion based ones. Aloo Gobi is great, and low calorie too. I'd go for tandoori chicken with a nice Aloo Gobi on the side and a bit of rice! I…

Growing up my non-muslim friends thought that Ramadan meant that I would lose weight, little did they know that when the sun goes down, Muslims go cray with the food and stuff their faces, well they do in my house lol and coming from a South Asian family that means Biryani, Samosas, Keema Patties (puff pastry full of spicy…

Yes go for the reduced stuff at the end of the night, although I've noticed my local tesco has stopped reducing food as much as they used to (10p for a cauliflower! I was in heaven that day, oh what a saddo), used to be pennies for food, now they knock 10 or 20p off veg, when I could get it next door in lidl for half price…

God I put it on everything. Crispbreads, rice cakes and melba toast are low carb...well lower than a piece of bread or a crumpet lol, I will have that when I'm low on carbs. and have it with fruit, Banana with peanut butter is magical, as is apple and peanut butter!

It sucks that all the unhealthy food seems be the cheapest, having a wander around mysupermarket and all the major stores have offers on chocolate and doughnuts and everything that is bad for you, while the fruit (so glad that there is a lidl near my house - get fruit and veg for half the price compared to other stores!)…

With eating out, you can never be too sure of the calories, people use different amounts of some items, for instance one chef might use a couple of tablespoons of oil in their dishes, and others might just use 1 tsp. What I'd do is pick the one with the highest calories on myfitnesspal if there is more than one of the same…

I had a hard time with the taste at first too, now I love it and drink 3 cups ore more a day  I don't add anything to mine, but adding lemon would be great. mint leaves too! a dash of honey will make it taste better. You can get flavoured green tea (vanilla, lemon etc) too, and start of with that and move to plain…

If you're just starting out, you can start slowly and incorporate them into your meat dishes, add a few veg to your pasta sauce (sometimes I replace half of the meat with chopped veg - cheaper and still tastes great), casseroles, chilli or your chicken/lamb curry. That way you'll get much more portions (and you can freeze…

I was recently diagnosed with depression (well not really, my GP didn't mention the D word so I asked if I was and he said yes), don't know what type. I used to do those depression quizzes when I was a teenager and I'm probably bipolar. I have horrible mood swings, I'll be fine one minute and the I'll feel horrible the…

See, I find Tescos and all the other major supermarket chains far too expensive when it comes to Fruit and Veg. You should try going into a Lidl or Aldi if they're near you, the price difference is amazing. We have a Lidl right next to our local tesco, and we usually pop into Lidl first for the fruit and veg and then go…

I can't even think about the shake weight without thinking about that South Park episode.
