Pack your lunch and leave the office to eat it. Has to be a nice bench or park near by. Even if there is not then even sitting outside on a lawn chair is still a nice break from the office and you still get to eat right.

"Hey baby that outfit looks good, it would look even better crumpled up on my floor in the morning."

Sadly I do not have a workout partner. I find it faster and easier (for me) to work out with just my mp3 player. Wow I almost said my walkman. How old is that...lmao

Dead link, it brings you to the main forum page.

It is hard to tell without seeing your diary. Sounds like you might be guessing wrong on your calories consumed and calories burnt. I know that I was stalled for about 6-7 weeks so I took one week off the gym and did not watch what I ate. When I went back to the gym I changed up my workout and started to drop weight again.…

I like that. I might change my motto to Unleash the Animal.

I don't do any kickboxing or karate but I am told that boxing/kickboxing is a FABULOUS way to lose weight. You can really get a burn on from what I have been told. I too have been thinking about taking some kind of boxing classes but I have very little time left after everything and my workout.

I agree, altho I am only 42 I too am trying to bring it Hard Core. My First goal was to just become healthier. Now I want not only to be healthier but I also want some muscles. I want to be able to take off my shirt and have people say wow look at his muscles. I know I have a way to go and still need to lose about 80lbs of…

Wow I am going to have to look into a pair like these. The wires keep getting in the way.

It happens to everyone at one time or another. Like I said I was at the point of saying screw it, but I hung in there. It is very tough emotionally as well because you start to ask yourself "Is it really worth it?" Well YES it is worth it.

Can you say SMOKIN!!!!!!!! You look great.

I too think you have a sugar problem/diabetic. Which test for diabetes did you do? The simple blood test or the 3 hour test? The 3 hour test is more accurate. If your not happy with your doctors recommendations/Diagnosis then I suggest another doctor for a 2nd opinion. I have heard to many times that if someone would have…

Keep up the great work.

In order to gain 4 lbs on your "free day" you would have had to eat an extra 14,000 calories on top of your normal maintaining calories. I am sure it is 90% water retention. Edit: Now that would be a hell of a "Free Day"...lmao

Ok I just downloaded the 5x5 and will give it a try, for a couple of weeks to see what happens. I will also continue doing my cardio 2 days a week. Oh yes and of course I will still do the Sauna 5 days week. This is my reward to myself after working out or cardio.

How did you earn 1,411 calories? Unless you were riding a bike for about 5 hours this seems rather high. I would try recalculating you calories burned. If this is what you really did burn you have to give out your secret because I know I would love to burn that much in a day... And welcome to MFP BTW. Edit: Ah you…

TY msmrg. I will keep going. I just needed a little vent and some encouragement. That is why I love this site. You can blow a little steam and get a TON of help. Thanks to all that replied.

I will look for that bread. I do measurements every week as well and have lost 1 inch in total, actually gained in a couple of spots. My wife says I look thinner.
-
Very nice. I try to spread it out on most days, sometime I do eat a little more in one meal but usually stay below the 2050 MFP has set plus 1/2 my burned calories. Unfortunately I can not get more sleep during the week. I do catchup a little on weekends tho.
-
I will try this but I sometimes find it hard to eat 2050 calories a day when eating healthier foods. I could eat that on pizza tho. (my weakness).,.lol
-
I do drink a ton of water, at least 15 glasses a day (8 oz). Sleep is because I work nights and get home at 6am, then I get my kids up and off to school so I get to sleep at 9am then I am up at 3pm for them to come home from school.

Sorry, you got to it before I could open it up...lol It is open now. Thanks

Thank you very much for the quick answers. My wife is a new diabetic and her nutritionist wants her to eat so many carbs, protein ect per meal and we where not sure if we should include the other as part of the regular carbs or add it to the regular carbs.
-
I understand what Carbs are what I was not sure of was what other carbs are. If they are just part of the whole carbs why separate it from carbs. Edit: But thank you for the link. It is a great explanation.

Welcome to MFP. There people here are very helpful and motivating. I really enjoy logging in here a few times a day to see what my friends are up to. Feel free to add me.

I am not going to bash the low carb diet as I have done it in the past, BUT just to let you know after meeting with my nutritionist I learned that your brain requires at least 130 grams of fresh carbs a day to function. The rest of your body can live off of burning your fat but your brain can not. It needs fresh/new carbs…

Wow, your food diary is horrible. Pizza and donuts for breakfast??? What is that? You are 18, time to take control of your own life and not depend on your parents. Tell them to start bringing in healthy foods for you to make or go buy your own groceries. You will never lose the weight you want to eating any of that…
