WebMD is also the website that says you have cancer anytime you put in any symptom, even foot pain or headache. As a healthcare professional, I tell patients to NEVER go on that site. ETA: case studies have shown that although artifical sweeteners can cause release of insulin, it also did with non sweetened carbonated…

Egg, veggies, cheese in some type of carrier, such as an English muffin or wrap. Greek yogurt. Avocado on toast. Lunch meat wrapped around a string cheese. Grilled chicken breast. Protein bar. Protein smoothie. Nuts, cheese cubes, and an apple.

1) Went into Dunkin Donuts for my coffee this morning, and it was national donut day, and they offered me a free donut...and i turned it down because it would have put me over too much for the day! 2) tried kale for the first time today, and i like it. :)

I'd seek help from a physician regarding your loss of menses. I'm not wealthy either, but surely there is a free clinic, or a health department you can visit, or something. We can't give you advice on how to make your period come back, I'm sorry :(

Man, prednisone makes me so ravenous lyrics hungry! I think I may potentially have bronchitis, I hear rales when I listen to my lungs. :/ if no improvement tomorrow, off to get an X ray I go! Luckily, I'm thinking I want everything, but I only eat a small portion of anything I fix. Logging is gonna be so inaccurate today,…

I have a crush on you now. :open_mouth:

Down with the sickness, ooooh ah ah ah ah! (Sorry!) Yeah, monday, I didn't want crap, and today I want to eat allthefoods. Doesn't help I started my TOM today, either! Oh well!

My manager is an incredibly intelligent person ;) I'm not wanting to go way over maintenence or anything, that's for sure; I have been less concerned with my food this week though. Like when I wanted a krystal yesterday, by George I got me a couple -- and some chili! Lol ;)

Ah. Well, try to think: hunter. Can ya go out and hunt it, pick it? That's about as low carb as you can get. Trade sandwich bread for lettuce wraps. Zoodles for noodles, etc.
-
If it takes 2 bottles of wine to hang out with your friends, I'd pick new friends. ;) Seriously though, not only is binge drinking bad on your liver, it's bad on your waistline. You say you're on a 1200 calorie diet. I'm going with probably not, as you stated you do not weigh or log. When you don't have a really…

Do you have a medical condition requiring you to limit your carbs?

Sometimes, they will make a notice. My pesky coworker asked why I suddenly started bringing lunch, and I said I'm trying to eat healthier (of curse, they didn't wanna hear about CICO after asking about how I've lost, lol). This person would constantly say I'm not eating enough, I needed less fat and carbs etc. They…

All you have to say is "I brought my own food", if they continue, take their offering, and dump it in the trash right in front to of them. Last year I dealt with a nosey coworker. I never shared my diet plans if not asked, yet she'd come in my office giving me advice, and offering me food not in my goals. You're not food…

Lol, *I* wouldn't adapt. ;) hard eggs all around for me, no matter cooking style. Hey, if we all liked the same thing, we'd be boring!

Change it to 0.5 pounds a week, seriously. Being as you are so close to your goal weight, that is way too big of a deficit. Don't be so impatient. First off, weight loss is a science, yes, but not an exact one. Also, the slower the weight comes off, especially with so little to lose, the better. If you set yourself to lose…

You could always enter this information in the notes section of you diary.
-
You're eating more than 1,000 calories a day.
-
I'd change it to 0.5 per week, with such a small amount to lose. Those last few are the hardest. Make sure you're weighing all your foods with a kitchen scale, since you have less room for error now. Good luck and congrats on being so close to goal!

I treat myself daily. Be it with an iced coffee from dunkin, some ice cream or chocolate, a slice of pizza. It's a "treat" to know I can lose weight without any dietary restrictions forbidding me to eat certain foods!

Thighs are good. They hold up your torso, and give your calf and foot something to attach to.
-
Oh no! No runny egg! Lol! Even scrambled gotta be cooked so hard they bounce!

OP, can I ask what you feel is unhealthy about peanut butter? In some of these "all natural" jars, the calories and macros are even higher.
-
Scambled Egg, avocado, sautéed mushrooms and onion, cheese, and tomatoes, then roll it up and kinda grill it with a heavy pot on it to make a grilled burrito type thing. Peanut Butter spread on tortilla, then a banana in the middle and wrap it up. Turkey, provolone, tons of veggies, and a couple spoons of hummus. Grilled…

I'm not a food waster, though. Price per meal was outrageous. But that was for me ;) I extreme coupon and grow vegetables, so EVERYTHING is expensive in my eyes, lol
-
I prefer to find recipes that I know I will enjoy, and getting the products much cheaper at a grocer or local farmers market. Lol, I'm not rich, and when I researched those things, they're expensive!
-
How about adding some oil, flour, vanilla, cocoa powder, and butter, and making a cake? ;o
-
I did. Was just mindful of calories. I had dry grilled chicken fajitas, one corn tortilla, and a handful of chips. I went over my weekly calories this week, but I am still satisfied that I was well under maintenence!
-
I eat them scrambled with mushrooms, bell peppers, and cheese, then when they're done I fold in some avocado and top with Sriracha

Sugar doesn't make you gain weight. Eating products in excess of your calories does. Allow yourself a treat, and figure it into your daily calorie allotment. And stop referring to eating as cheating, as if you're doing something wrong. Good luck!

If one half of one avocado, weighs 32 grams, and half of another weighs 75 grams, that's a large difference in calories. And yes, it DOES take science to lose weight and count calories.
