I ran 5k in 28 degrees. I wore a long sleeve base layer, a short sleeve thin dri-fit , a half zip, running capris, mittens , and a thin hat.

Couch to 5k builds your endurance to run a 5k. So, if you're not a runner this is a great way to start. Worked for me!!!

Trying to figure out the ticker thing. New to running. I started training to a 5k in late August ran one on Thanksgiving with a time of 32:57. I'm not a runner and it was 28 degrees! Now, I'm ready for this challenge To date: 13 miles
