I would be eating no less than 1200 calories a day. Eating less than 1200 does not mean you will lose more, it can actually send your body into starvation mode. I am not sure what you are eating, but are you eating whole grains, lean meats, etc? Are you drinking plenty of water? BTW, I am 5'0 tall but I am 163 pounds.

I chew gum to keep my mind off being hungry. LOL It keeps my mouth busy. Again, lots of different opinions though.

Lina sent me hers when she got a polar. I like it but I'm going to get a polar soon. The one she sent me is a wrist one but you have to keep pressing the button to get a hr reading. It works though. Do you want me to send it to you? It's a good one to start with.

when you say 500-900 calories, are you wearing an HRM or just going by the estimate of the machine? are you eating all your exercise calories?

It depends on the instructor and the music she/he plays, plus your energy level. I have burned between 300-500 in 30-45 minutes per my HRM. It's a great work out!

I log it under the dancing, aerobics. I do have an HRM and I can burn anywhere from 300-500 calories in 30-45 minutes. It just depends on which songs she plays.

not coordinated at all. I have been doing zumba classes since July. I love it. It's a great exercise and if you have a good instructor, you will start learning it and have a blast!

I was on the Nuvaring before my son was born. I loved it. Once my son was born I decided on the Mirena IUD. I have had it since June 2007 and have no complaints. I don't know if I gained weight, but I sure wasn't trying to lose any. Ever since I started to try, I am now losing.

We eliminated it as much as possible. It's not natural. So why put it in my body? I have noticed that eliminating it along with other processed foods, makes me feel better. have you gone back into double check that your "settings" are right? I would do that first. Secondly, are you drinking enough water? Even if I work out and eat right, I won't lose without enough water.

I am slowly losing my mommy tummy, but I doubt I will ever get back to the way it was. The more weight that I lose, the better it looks. I had my c-section in November 2006. I am doing pilates, an ab class and a total body class at the gym. It seems to be working.

you can do it!! I am a former WW member, I joined here and the weight started dropping faster. I've lost 10 pounds in 2 months. So I agree, it's more simple.

don't make excuses just do it. I work out during my lunch hour at work. I don't make excuses, I just go. I do it for myself.. for my future!

I just say no thanks. I normally tell them that I am watching what I eat. Then I normally tell them that I have worked really hard to get where I am at. If they persist, then I tell them how many calories said dessert is and how long it would take me to burn them off. That normally gets them to shut up. :)

I started in January on WW, but hit a plateau. So I joined MFP and have doen great on here. I am down 23 pounds since January, but i feel like it's great for me. I am making lifestyle changes not a diet. I know that I can keep it off now! I am also only 5 feet tall, so the weight loss shows faster visually vs the scale,.

I have a simple HRM (that a friend gave me). It does it's job, but I would invest in a Polar with a chest strap. They are awesome and this way you don't have to stop and push the watch to get a heart rate reading. They are worth the money. I am saving for one now! :-)

If you are comparing the full features online and phone app they are both very good. Personally I prefer MFP. I think it's a bigger range of people and I think it's more about learning new habits and lifestyle vs. living on a diet. I did start with WW in January and am recently 100% on MFP.
