I think I am more focused on health and fitness/weight loss than he is... My fiancé is naturally slim and muscular, when we met he was going to the gym almost every day (that was something we really liked to do together). After we moved in together laziness set in for both of us. Now he's still slim although with a little…

I used to be a member at Planet Fitness. It was a pretty decent gym equipment wise. Lots of cardio machines, not a lot of free weights. They do have a locker room with lockers and showers. If you signed up online, there will probably be someone available to walk you through the gym and teach you the machines. Usually there…

I prefer homemade vinaigrettes. Recently though I was craving ranch and since I loathe it from a bottle I made it from a hidden valley package. It was delicious! Totally reminded me of what ranch from my childhood tasted like!. Also, Kens lite caeser dressing is pretty good.

I agree with the previous posters. I would not take my scale. Great idea on getting take-out and figuring it out for the future. But I think the main thing is to just enjoy the treat of eating out...and over-estimate.!

Feel free to add me! After a weekend of heavy drinking plus starting a new exercise plan this week, I need all the support I can get!

This reminds of the South Park episode that had the "cooling mist".

Interesting. I logged tuna salad and got a comment about healthy fat and then a Chipotle burrito bowl and got nothing!

Priceless!

Jalapeno kettle chips, cheese-its, funyons... I just can't have them in the house. Also sourdough baguette. I will just dip in oil and balsamic until it's all gone.

My Mom sent me a cookbook when my fiancé moved in called "The Sneaky Chef". It has some great recipes that incorporates veggies in unexpected ways.

How do you normally cook it? Maybe try steaming and then blanching in ice water. The sautee to warm it back up. That usually comes out very tender. If you're roasting, it could be that you need to shorten your cooking time and/or lowering the temp in the oven.

YUMMY! I rarely eat it any more but my regulars were: Burrito Supreme Taco Supreme (hard or soft) Bean Burrito Double Decker Taco Supreme When I was a teenager my Mom and I would go every Saturday after cleaning house as a treat...

I'm late!! But in!

I love broccoli too! All of the above suggestions are great. I also stir fry mine in chili-sesame oil. Nice little kick!

I drink green tea every day, but have not noticed that it attributes to any weight loss. I think it's yummy though.

At this point I pretty much plan dinners only but more from a grocery shopping perspective. Breakfast on work days is generally the same and then I typically turn left over protein from dinner into a salad for lunch.

For a long while I fit it into my calories, but I have found that it does impair my progress. I struggled for a long while stopping at 1-2 glasses and then was a carb craving fiend the next day. Now I am still enjoying my wine on the weekends without any concern, but during the week I don't keep it in the house. Seems to…

First thing that comes to mind is almond butter... I tried and found it disgusting... As I read through the others I remembered beets, radishes, yams, lamb, game and any organ meat... Uh oh... am I a picky eater?

I plan on starting when I get back from Vegas after St Patricks Day. I don't know if I totally buy into the no dairy thing, but I figure eating food I cook myself at minimum can't hurt. I'm interested to see how it impacts bloating for me.

Enchiladas! Chili, soups, tacos, burritos.... huh... I might be in the mood for Mexican!

Huh?

^^^ This! And, @rhon, I knew this was why we were friends!

In.... Because I am working today and bored.

The first frittata I ever made was with smoked salmon and dill. I think it was a Ina Garten (Barefoot Contessa) recipe. Some of my regular favorites are ham and cheddar cheese, sausage and cheese, bacon and cheese - Notice a theme? Haha... Spinach and feta would be yummy. Also sliced roma tomatoes layered with mozzarella…

Looks delicious!

I'm jelly! I would use at least part of it for wine! Sadly, I am out of calories today...

Wow! That sounds amazing! I have only attempted cole slaw with cabbage in the past. I remember one of my employees bringing some home made authentic sauerkraut that his Mom made. It was amazing!
