I have the same issues with the scale...I still use it at least once a week but I also measure myself because even if I don't lose pounds, inches are a better gauge to measure weight loss. It could be you are building muscle which weighs more but takes up less space than fat. So maybe you should start to monitor your…

I have an SR12 that I got from Walmart for 30 but its bare basic...they had a few more models that did more that were in the range you want to pay. They keep them in the fitness area of the store. Hope this helps you!!

@ ejoh, yours sounds a lot more advanced than mine...I only had to put in age and sex. Its a sportline, I got it from Walmart.

No to the chest strap, wear it on the wrist and monitor every so often while exercising by touching finger to button on the wrist monitor. Are those as accurate as the chest strap? I worry because I don't want to eat the exercise calories if its not accurate.
