It's taken me 5 months to lose 36 lbs, and I only started back on my treadmill in April. I do 30 minutes, 4x a week, at 3.5. I only burn 154 calories according to the website. It can be done, it just takes time, and patience.

I bread them in Panko, and make fish tacos with them.

Tacos(soft or hard)? I make chicken tacos. You can fill them with all kinds of healthy vegetables. Chicken fajitas would be good, too.

Have you looked into "Reactive Hypoglycemia"? Just a thought.

It's my TOM now. I totally binged last night. I just crave chocolate and salt. I did manage to drag my body on the treadmill for 30 minutes, though. Towards the end I am just mush!

Me, too! Although, it was more like a chin hair. It's those darn hormones.

Don't be too hard on yourself. I can imagine you've been through some tough times lately. I'm very sorry to hear of your recent loss. I went on a bus tour through Scotland back in the 90's. It'a a beautiful country, and I'd love to get back there someday. My grandmother was a MacDonald, it's in the blood. :)) Feel free to…

Welcome Maggie. I gave up my DD coffee for that reason, and now make it at home, Good luck, you'll love this site! P.S. The Celtics are going to win. :))

Too funny! I just bought miniature dove ice cream bars, thinking the same thing. Got my period yesterday, and the darn things are gone already. :))

I didn't realize mine was closed until I got familiar with the site. It's open now, and I don't mind if anyone looks at it.

Yup, it can be done. I've lost 36 lbs since January, and I'm 48 yrs old. I walk on my treadmill 4x a week. I just incorporated a lot more vegetables and fruits in my diet, and limited the sweets. Getting a handle on portion control was my biggest issue. Good luck!

"Patience Grasshopper" :)) I lose about 1 lb a week, sometimes none. Why bother? I feel so much healthier. Don't be discouraged, just keep trying. If you can survive being a nursing student, you can survive the frustration of losing weight. Good luck in your wt. loss, and your nursing career.

Ten pounds is a great start! :)) I can totally see the difference.

Patience, and lots of it, too. :)) I'm just eating a lot more salads, fresh fruits, and vegetables. I exercise 4x a week(treadmill). I still have a treat once in awhile, too.

Good and bad! I had grilled chicken, and three kinds of salad for Mother's Day dinner. Then came the "Cream Crown", a lighter version of cheese cake with lady fingers. I had 2 fingers, then another 2 fingers. Later I had Chocolate Chip Ice Cream with homemade fudge sauce. It was soooooooooooo good! :)) I did manage not to…

I just dipped 5 Hershey chocolate kisses into a tablespoon of peanut butter. Heavenly! I say "go for it". Just record it, though. Moderation in all things!

I work as a nurse on a Cardiac floor, and our partients are restricted to 2000mg a day. That's what I aim for, too.

Feel free to click on my profile and view my diary. It might give you some ideas.

Special K Protein Plus, but you need to add fruit to achieve the "good tasting" part. Rather bland without it.

Cheesecake Factory strawberry cheesecake. Thankfully, there are none close to me.

I take a chicken breast, and slice it into long strips. I dip them in egg white then roll them in Progresso Panko Bread Crumbs(Italian Style) and bake them in the oven at 350 degrees. About 20 -25 minutes each side. I spray the pan with PAM. I use Ken's Steak House honey mustard(lite) salad dressing as a dipping sauce.

Wow! You look beautiful!

You look great! Thanks for the inspiring pictures.

I'd like to lose 4-5 lbs. this month, and be in the 170's for the first time in many years. Continue exercising on a regular basis.
