Forgot to come online yesterday ... but 1.5 hours of walking. Also joined a new gym and will start more activities this weekend!

I did it! Lots of walking this morning .. so already completed my hour. Hopefully will get some more in later today. May 1st Stats -- Weight 196.5, Waist 36 in, Hips 40 in, Chest 41 in, Arms 12 in, Thigh 24 in. Can't wait to see the changes at the end of the month!

Live in Texas and I spend $50-75 a week for a family of 3. I buy in bulk when items are on sale and then freeze. I also found that when I limited the processed/ready made items my grocery bill dropped drastically. We also tend to eat the in-season produce or go with frozen veggies. Since I buy in bulk, there are some weeks…

I go through spurts of replacing breakfast with protein shakes. My husband likes his with vanilla protein powder, coffee, and ice (I also hide some ground flax seed in it). I like that and then sometimes I make a fruit one with protein powder, water or milk, fruit(banana, berries, pineapple, or mango), and a little spinach…

Just downloaded Fooducate. Thanks for letting us know about it. I checked all the food in my desk and it was all pretty good .. except for the dark chocolate (d+). Oh well. Luckily I only indulge during an emergency! LOL!

For exercise, I use Map My Walk and Zombies, Run for the iPhone. Map My Walk is free, but Zombies, Run is an $8 app ... but totally worth it. With the Zombies, Run, you listen to a story during your walk/run. If you have zombie chases turned on, at a random point you have to speed up to prevent the zombies from catching…

I have done the overnight oatmeal with almond milk and greek yogurt. If cooking oatmeal, I like to add a raw egg while cooking on the stove -- just stir constantly and it will cook in and you will not even notice it. Currently .. my fave breakfast is light english muffin toasted with peanut butter and thinly sliced apple.…

Okay .. I am definitely going to try this. I have been adding an egg to my oatmeal when cooking it for the added protein, but I do not always have time at home before I leave. This seems really easy. Thanks for posting!

Looking good. The same thing is happening to me. The scale will not move .. but 3 weeks ago I measured. As of today, I have lost 2 inches in both my hips and waist. Bring on the muscle! I feel better and my clothes are looser. I just keep reminding myself to do what I am doing and it will pay off.
