My best advice is to stay within the 1200 calorie limit. If you add in exercise you will want to eat a little more so you will have energy. Also only eat whole wheat. 1200 calories a day is perfectly healthy. A doctor will sometimes even recommend an 800-1200 calorie a day diet for very obese patients.
