  • I personally think they taste really good and they are a nice snack when you're wanting something salty with a crunch. The multi-grain are my favorite! Low calories and taste great....can't beat that!!
  • Very good! I usually only drink water and tea and I have been counting that against my water intake. When I do have soda, juice, etc. I do not count those. I have always wondered and your answers really help! Thanks!
  • This is why I love MFP! I have a sweet tooth and I do not like depriving myself. As long as you are staying within in calorie limits, eating what you enjoy (in moderation of course) is what helps you to stay motivated, in my opinion. If I totally deprived myself of the things I love, I would NEVER be able to stick with a…
  • Welcome!! I'm Nicole and I just recently started using MFP again after a year off. Love it!! Best of luck to you!!
  • I don't know about the Zumba Fit but I take a Zumba class at my local fitness center. I use the "dance, ballroom, fast" to log my Zumba workout. Not sure how accurate it is though. I'm hoping to get me a HRM soon to get a more accurate number.
  • I just saw this thread for the first time. I am still nursing my "almost" 23 month old. He only nurses still at bed time and usually only 10 minutes or so. Other than that, he's not nursing. So I don't figure extra calories for that. I'm trying to get him off completely, so i figure if my milk production decreases, that…
  • That's awesome!! Slow and steady wins the race, right?? Keep up the great work!

  • I can't remember with my first son how long it took for my milk to dry up but I don't think too long. My soon-to-be 23 month old (2nd son) is still breastfeeding  and I can't seem to get him off. Of course, he does not nurse but at bed time still so my production has decreased quite a bit already. But, do be aware,…
  • If I were you, I would talk to her again and let her know you don't want these things in your house, for your sake and your kids. Explain to her what you just said here and let her know what are exceptable snacks that she can buy for the children. Good luck to you. Hopefully she will honor your wishes if you just explain…
  • Great job. Sounds like you are doing an awesome job. I too have been at this since the New Year. I'm only down 10 lbs. so far but I'm getting there slowly but surely. Without this site and making myself accountable for what I eat, I would not have been able to make it this far. Good luck to you as you continue on your…
  • IMO, I don't really believe in the "you should not eat within 2 hours of going to bed". Of course, you don't want to eat a large meal and go to sleep afterwards but I don't think a small snack will hurt you. As long as you are remaining within your calorie limit for the day, a healthy snack before bed shouldn't hurt you.
  • I am easily tempted too so I say, if you can't fight the temptation, get them out of your house. Give them away, throw them away, whatever...just don't have them there. It's okay to have a treat in moderation but if you eat 7 to 10 at a time, you just need to get rid of them. Good luck to you on your continued weight loss.…
  • I'm chiming in on this a little late but I checked out your diary and noticed you are getting ALOT of "empty" calories from your beverages. Sodas and alcohol are boosting your caloric intake up alot. I would suggest watching the intake of those and pre-planning your meals for the day should help. Good luck. :)
  • I just wanted to say I am in the same boat. I too have 2 small boys (2 and 4) and find it very hard to find time to work exercise into my schedule. I work full-time out of the home and work 4 - 10 hour days. My 3 day weekend is with my boys and my family. I do get in some exercise playing with them but do not find any free…
  • I agree with what everyone else has said. You are definitely not eating enough. Looking at your food log, you have almost burned as many calories as you have consumed today. (consumed @ 480 cals. and burned @ 420 cal. with exercise). Your body is probably actually in starvation mode because essentially you have only taken…
