We're triplets! I'm 5'8 and started on MFP at 215lbs. So far I've lost 5lbs (yippie!) and my initial goal is to get to 188lbs. I've found that its easier for me to go out and exercise than it is for me to conciously try to limit my calories. So I have a goal of trying to workout for an hour each day. My food diary is also…

I focus on the daily deficit to keep me motivated during the day to continue to make healthy eating choices. But I'm new at this so sometimes I have a "bad day" and that's when I focus on the weekly deficit to assure myself that one day that doesn't go as planned is okay. Hi I just joined this week and I'm already feeling motivated by the friends I've added from this website. Try not to dwell on the yesterdays we all fall off the horse once or twice. As long as you make the effort to get back on you're already a success in my book! Feel free to add me :)

Yay! Congrats on the weight loss! That's very informative and inspiring. I just started my journey and knowing that their prediction is accurate will surely help me through the rough days.

Welcome. I'm the same way it seems like I randomly woke one morning to discover a new body that I'm highly uncomfortable in. I'm also looking for MFP friends to motivate me to lose the weight. So feel free to add me :)

I'm doing it. Can't speak to the results as of yet since I just hopped back on the exercise regimen...but what I like about it is that I can log 2 hours of exercise a day without feeling like I'm putting my life on hold for exercise. It also helped me stop eating out of boredom...something that is a MAJOR problem for me.

The most important things is that you've made the choice to change your life now. Like everyone has been saying take it one day at a time - never looking back or regretting the past - and you are sure to succeed. I'm also new to MFP so feel free to add me!
