Hey! I did a leave replacement last year for math in a middle school! Good stuff! ;) Welcome to MFP! This place is the best! There is so much support and there are so many useful tools.

Absolutely! You are doing fantastic! Keep up the amazing work! :)

That is so scary.

Have you tried meat substitutes like TVP (textured vegetable protein), tofu, seitan (wheat-meat), and tempeh? Other sources are: beans and legumes nuts other soy products with soya protein like soy milk

I was going to suggest the frozen bananas too. Freeze bananas (peel them first) then chop them up into little pieces, stick them in a food processor, and you're good to go! This is great too! Strawberry ice cream, 70 calories per serving! http://400caloriesorless.com/?p=4694

When I hit my halfway point I'm getting a new haircut. :) Every 10 pounds or so after that I plan to get one or two new pieces of clothing. You can find nice things on the clearance rack even. You don't need to buy yourself really expensive things. When I hit my goal I do plan to treat myself to a mini shopping spree,…

That's fantastic! Congratulations! What a big milestone! :)

I agree with you. For some people that may work but it doesn't work for me at all! I can't start eating certain types of carbs or it's this slippery slope back into stuffing my face. I can eat healthy bagels or bread or something but get those cookies away from me - I can't even go there at ALL. I'm totally with you.

Yay! That's great! :)

I never agree with working out less. I think you're doing a great job and you should keep doing those workouts. However, when you work out more, your body requires more fuel. Think about it like that. I have seen a lot of people hit plateaus and break through just by adding 100-300 more calories per day for a week or two.…

You look absolutely fabulous! Congratulations!! :)

I hear that. I decided I'm going to give up all sweets and goodies for Lent which will make it easier for me. So from March 9th until Easter, at least, I won't be able to have those goodies! ;)

You can do: jumping jacks lunges squats walk/run up and down stairs jumprope

Yeah, 3 weeks is the time that they say it takes for something to become a habit. I find that for me after I've done it for a month it becomes easier. I think everyone is different.

I think that is completely acceptable especially since you can get Zumba classes elsewhere for around that same amount. It's donation based and you are giving what you are able to give! The fact that you are feeling badly that you can't give more shows that you are not being cheap. You're being generous by choosing to go…

Cool, I was just wondering because I am all for veg diets but I do think you need to find other sources of proteins, nice work! :)

Wow you look fantastic! Congratulations! That is truly inspiring! :)

Do you eat soy products or meat substitutes like tofu, seitan, tempeh, or textured vegetable protein?

Last time I was at the gym there was a woman running on a treadmill two down from me and she kept saying things out loud to herself like: YEAH BABY YOU CAN DO IT YOU ARE HOT YEAH YEAH FIVE MORE MINUTES MAMA'S IN THE HOME STRETCH OH YEAH YOU ARE ON FIRE MAMA DADDY IS GOING TO LOVE YOU TONIGHT I thought it was adorable but…

Hey there! I'm really motivated and I am setting goals for myself for May 18th which is my birthday! I'm always looking for other like minded and motivated, optimistic people like myself! Feel free to add me! :)

Yes, if you aren't sure, always go to the restaurant's site and look at their nutritional information. Remember that the MFP database is user entered so while most of it is accurate, sometimes someone may enter something incorrectly or differently or it may be out of date. :)

First of all, wow, you have done such a great job so far and you should be so proud of yourself! I'm sorry that you haven't found any support around you or received any compliments from people you see. Is it possible that they feel awkward to say something or they think you might be sensitive to the topic? I have had…

I buy a new outfit or two every goal I set (about 10-20 pounds depending on $). In less than 10 pounds, I will hit my halfway mark and I am treating myself to a haircut! :)

Try saving enough calories for a half a cup of grapes or something and I always try to drink a lot of water with dinner - that keeps me full.

Abso-flippin'-loutely. I find that I just have to have a diary at least open to my friends or I just start making excuses again. I love the feeling that I get for being accountable and the support I get from my MFP friends for doing so has been amazing so far.

That's awesome! Way to go! :)

It also depends what exercise you are doing.
