Just saw this thread.. I'm doing both shred and c25k as well. I'm fully committed to the shred and have done it for 16 days straight (except one) so far. In addition, I plan on doing C25K on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Just did week 2 day 1 today, so haven't gotten that far there yet. I've noticed that on days where I…

Woot, go us! I just did day 15 today as well :-) I definitely curse at Jillian sometimes, but not today when I was actually feeling confident in the H&M fitting room. Bring on the next 15 days!!

I just did Day 4 and I gotta say that my arms are getting a proper beating in level 2. However, I am in love with the double crunches and find myself doing them a couple of extra sets :-)

Hey and welcome to MFP! I'm pretty new here as well and can definitely relate to your situation. I'm 23 years old, 5'10" and 216 lbs, trying to lose 50 lbs. I used to do sports as well, but after I quit I wasn't very good at exercising regularly. After 2 weeks of actively using MFP I think that has changed and I'm also…

For it me it was the complete opposite. I prefer to not use shoes so I did the entire level 1 without shoes. However, for level 2 I felt like I had to wear shoes. Especially for the planks and lunges, the shoes helped me keep my balance. Oh, and I have a hardwood floor.. I think it's actually more challenging to do it…

I'm 5'10'' and my goal is 160 :-) Still a long way to go!

I started doing it last week, and just completed week 1. I really want to be able to enjoy running, cause right now I just find it painful when I run for 5 minutes straight... C25K seems like the perfect program for me, and I can't wait to notice improvements in my stamina :-)

Wow, I just completed my first day of level 2 and I was overwhelmed! I think I need to sit down and watch the entire workout because I could not keep up with all the new moves.

Hey, I don't think that Zumba and Kinect games are in the MFP database, but if you know approximately how many calories they burn, you can add them manually. Click on the Exercises tab, and right underneath there's a link to "My exercises". And if you don't know how many calories they burn and don't have a heart rate…

^Good job - keep it up!! I finished level 1 today and will be starting level 2 tomorrow. It's really awesome how you see improvements in your ability to do the exercises from day to day.

Just finished Day 10 as well, and still feeling pumped. Don't think I could have done it without the motivation from you guys :-) I'm also really proud of myself because I managed to do the whole workout without breaks today. Must mean that I'm ready for level 2!

I use 1 kg and I'm noticing that for half the exercises they're ok/challenging, while for the other half I could use 2 kg ones. Wondering if we can use different weights during one workout?

Whey! It's important to celebrate mini-milestones :-) I just did Day 6. Took a break yesterday because I had appointments from morning to late evening, so today was kinda heavy actually. Oh well, that just makes me more motivated to avoid taking breaks moving forward!

I'm an evening person so I usually have dinner at 4pm and do the workout at 6pm. That's when I feel the most upbeat so it's been going quite well :-)

I wasn't planning on doing an extra workout but am finding myself pretty energised when the 20 min are up, so today I did extra strength and cardio. I just started working out regularly though, so I don't want to push myself so much that I get sick of working out. Btw, great idea making this group! Looking forward to…

I've never been slim, but didn't get overweight until about 5-6 years ago. I eat healthy meals mostly (always homecooked, rarely deep fried), but I have always had the tendency to snack. After high school I stopped working out regularly and went to uni where I gained 10-15 pounds each year. This was due to poor sleeping…

Mine is 1740, but I usually net around 1400-1500. My profile is set at 1 pound per week although I would like to lose more. I'm at the very beginning now though, so still testing to see what's the best combination for me.

Welcome and feel free to add me :-) I literally started my first attempt at weight loss last week.

Wow, you look awesome! Thank you so much for sharing. I'm just finished my day 3 and this really helps motivate me to go all the way :-)

I just finished Day 3 and I'm really liking it. So far I'm finding it really easy to stay motivated since it takes so little of my time :-) I'm in!
