  • I'm from the South...men open doors, men dont sit down at a table before you do, men hold the elevator, etc etc. For me, these are not bonuses, they are natural behaviors and it would feel odd without them.
  • oooohhhhh I second this! I would think that sex is made hotter by having a great companionship to back it up. Need both please!
  • That is the perfect way to meet someone! I fantasize about meeting someone like this, every time I go to the grocery store. totally j/k! ok no, really, I do. good for you!!!
  • whoa we just commented at the same time...lol
  • Whoever asks, should pay. I would NEVER ask a guy out and expect him to pay...I would absolutely pay for it. However, if I were asked out by him, then of course I would hope that he would be a gentleman and pay up. I dont like not pulling my share, though, so after a few dates, I would have no problems suggesting the next…
  • good story :)
  • try living in northeast Louisiana....there is NOBODY here! NOBODY! lol
  • It doesnt have to be so complicated. go with the flow. do what feels natural. If you are meant to be good company with each other, then you will automatically fall into a comfy medium when it comes to compliments. That being said...the best compliment I have ever recevied was from my best friend (completely in love with…
  • ok Im going to do this too! mine was at 27-35 and Ive been turning away the 22-26 year olds....hmmm....not any more!
  • it took me a mere 3 days to get tired of the messages such as "how are you doing" or "whats up baby". So I put a minimum 100 character rule on my messages. Now I get messages like: "how are you doing? oh its telling me i have to put at least 100 to mssg you. sdfasdfasdhfkdfdafdffffffafhdafdfd"
  • I think you should give it a bit more time until youre sure it wont work. That being said, I completely understand it. I have to be dominate all day long at work; but when it comes to my personal life, I think I like being submissive, myself. Kinda old fashioned I suppose?
  • I've actually never been on a dinner date (just began dating like 3 weeks ago). But I usually, in all honesty, eat a salad anyways. I don't think I would change the way I ate just for one date because eventually, if you spend enough time together, the truth will come out.
  • I would never ever put "no fatties". Hell...I'm still a chunky butt, myself. However, being active is important to me. I may get dragged thru the mud for this...but....I have recently worded it this way: (I have changed my life to be more active and fit and adventurous and I want someone who is the same, so we can do…
  • yogurt - I still cannot stand the regular kind at all, but I LOVE Greek yogurt. Eat it 3-4 times/week. I dont understand how I could hate one and love the other...but so be it. black coffee - I always drank my coffee with about 120 calories of coffee creamer, and 2 packets of sweet n' low. then a couple months ago, when I…
  • I would not worry at all...you are quite the opposite of damaged goods. You are actually prime for the taking!
  • hey I'm going to the Jackson one, but I'm on a team....good luck on finding you some fellow Warriors! it's gonna rock!
  • it is not a well accepted diet and should never be used long term....you may want to consider healthier options like the old fashioned fat and calorie cutting
  • hahahaaa...my vegetarian friend actually showed this to me a while back. I do NOT touch anything processed like that...no chicken nuggets or chicken patty sandwiches, and absolutely NOOOO hot dog weinies....uuuuuuck
  • ok, try this....buy the ingredients yourself as close to the real thing but healthy like. then make it at home and see if the taste is good enough and the cals/fat low enough...it might not be the real deal but possibly help satisfy your cravings. I love chips and salsa and white queso at a Mexican restaurant...I began…
  • good choice on the Fiber One bars...also one of my favs apples - jona gold, gala, or granny smith greek yogurt pickle spears (but no nutrition)
  • Lean meat is good for you. I had a dear friend who went from a fat vegetarian to a skinny vegetarian (he's 6'1 and went from 260 to 175). Poor guy can't gain a bit of muscle except in his legs (which were hot because he was a runner). Anyways...he needs some meat. You would probably benefit from it. I'm not saying you…
  • I just bought Oroweat double fiber whole wheat English muffins - 8g fiber and only 120 cals...eating them with cream cheese and strawberries...OMG so good!
  • grilled shrimp!!!! or grilled chicken of course. scallops are ok too. but yes sauces on the side. stay away from pasta :(
  • I eat a lot of protein as well but sometimes wonder if it's too much....I'm just not sure.
  • love apples! and pretty much any other fruit. laughing cow cheese 35 cals with reduced fat wheat thins 100 cal packs of ready made chicken salad (by Starkist) fresh steamer veggies (frozen in a bag) like whole green beans, California blend, or sugar snap peas baked sweet potatoes with cinnamon and nutmeg; spritz with…
  • From what I have learned, you need a spike day every once in a while to shake up your metabolism. I allow myself a spike day of 2000-2500 calories about once a month (my usual is 1200). So far so good.
  • I have my highest weight (240) and my before pics posted on MFP. I did that because I set this up as a fitness and health site and never had guys in mind, or else I would have certainly withheld my old weight and pics! However...even with my old weight public, and my horrible pics on here, I've been approached by numerous…
  • I'm 30 but I feel 25...I would be comfortable with 28-38. Just me though, everyone is different. I could never date someone 25yrs older...that's even older than my dad...major yucko!
  • I think I would like a little of the everyday stuff but not 35 updates throughout the day. If there is chemisty between us then we will natually find what feels like the right level of communication, and we won't have to worry about...is enough???? is it too much???? It will just happen.
  • I've never really dated but if I had just met him, I think I would be up for a small kiss (assuming I liked him). Now, if we had spent time getting to know each other with phone calls and texting, then met up, I would be ready to pin him down and plant one on him myself! lol
