it takes 2 weeks to establish a habit, try exercising for that amount of time, it worked for me, I'm HOOKED! Good luck! :smile:

I dont normally eat extra calories from exercise, then you've eaten back what youre trying to exercise off.....

journal every thing you eat...its the best way to catch BLT's (bites, licks and tastes) its not impossible, just takes time and patience.....

I agree, I have a splurge meal every once in a while, and I pick something yummy like a steak! its only been 1 week, dont stop now! You have to be in it for the long run, to get healthy..there is no time limit...tell yourself you are making yourself healthier, NOT dieting (diets dont work) and be patient....all good things come to those who work hard and wait!

in the same boat, PCOS is a precurser to diabetes and its the pits! I have been on track (well with some slip ups this week) and doing well..I have all but given up CARBS they are a bad word.....good luck on your adventure, not impossible, just not easy...but nothing worthwhile IS easy!

I had to giggle when I read this! Those damn little scales can make your day or break it! I dont weigh in very often, just enough to keep myself on track...for many many many years, we didnt have scales at this house..can lead to very bad things....

My doctor says it is the most dangerous place to have fat, belly fat makes you more likely to become diabetic...hence I am watching my food/logging exercise....its sure not easy to get rid of, esp over 50! ugh! :sad:

the sugar (carbs) makes you crave..try snacking on protein instead, soft boiled eggs, lean turkey or chicken....my doc has gotten me off eating a lot of carbs and I feel great....not to mention its helped the scales move the right direction!

the HCG diet is not heart healthy, wight is lost due to unsafe low calorie intake (500 per day) ask ANY good Dr, they will say NO WAY, eat right, eat less, and exercise more instead!

dont beat yourself up tomorrow for what happened yesterday! try and figure out what triggers a binge...and call a friend or go for a walk or bike ride when the urge strikes again! Good Luck!
