  • WOWZER!!! CONGRATS! I started around the same goal weight and I'm only about half way there. I need some of your discipline and motivation! Congrats again! Job well done!!!! :drinker:  :flowerforyou:
  • Definitely! At least 8 glasses a day, if not more. :grumble: Who knows....I'm not weighing in again until Friday and we'll see how this week has gone. :drinker: Here's to a better week!
  • HI everyone! So...life has been quite a rollercoaster lately. Between stress at work, family issues, emotional situations with friends, and my ToM, I've been sitting at the same weight (maybe fluctuating) - around 245 - for the past 3 weeks. I seem to be going way over on my Sodium lately...but soups and Weight Watchers…
  • Yah, so i've changed my weigh-in day to Fridays....weighed in on my old day (which was Tuesdays) and I was up from 245.6 to 246.2. So, that's only 0.6lb gain, but still...FRUSTRATING :explode: . I'm gonna set my goal at 6lbs. Get me out of the 240s!!!! :noway: Back on the band wagon I go!
  • Cheese is also my weakness...I  it!! For regular cheese slices, I use the Borden Fat Free Cheddar slices...it's only like 35 calories PER slice! Much better than the 50-100 that other people seem to use. I find that it tastes just as good as any regular cheese, and a bit better than say, Kraft or a generic store…
  • Was sick a bit last week but once I got my appetite back this weekend, it was a bit rough. I weighed myself this morning and I haven't lost or gained...so I suppose that's not too bad. Rough day at work today, just ate a Snickers bar :explode: ...still within my calories though :blushing:...so I suppose a salad is it for…
  • Down 3 more pounds this week! :blushing:  Unfortunately, I haven't done well on the cardio challenge this week because I've been laid up in bed suffering gallstone attacks. :grumble:   Quite possibly the most painful consistent pain ever. I'm about to go get some sleep as I just got home from…
  •  :flowerforyou:   HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DIVA FRIEND!!!! Hope you have a wonderful day and CONGRATS on the Weight Loss!! :smokin: :drinker: -CJ
  • Thanks ladies...unfortunately for me, I don't have health insurance right now. Welcome to the life of a post-college grad working as a temp. UGH! I'm just going to pray that it doesn't get worse. What I don't understand is that I'm not eating high-fatty or fried foods! And I RARELY ever eat foods high in cholesterol.…
  • For the past two or three weeks, I've experienced 3 nights of severe pain in my upper right abdomen which sometimes goes into my chest and back. :grumble: It usually occurs at night and has woken me from a dead sleep a few times. I've been thinking it could be a NUMBER of things...over exertion at the gym, gas,…
  • :drinker: :flowerforyou: CONGRATS!!! Such a great feeling. Keep up the great work and have fun with the options of new wardrobe pieces!
  • At LEAST 3 days at the gym with minimum of 20 mins cardio (usually on an elliptical machine) and then alternating weight training on upper and lower body and abs. I'm counting points (and doing MFP calories) on Weight Watchers. I lost about 45 lbs when I was in High School doing WW with my mom. So it's easy for me to make…
  • Yay for ZUMBA!   I've only done two classes, but yes, they are kick butt and killer workouts! The classes in my area are starting to incorporate circuit training as well as dancing. :noway: Makes it an even better workout! Keep up the great work!:drinker: :flowerforyou:
  • Thanks for sharing your struggle...I think we all have gone through this unhealthy relationship with food at some point. I, myself, had a rough day with food today too.:grumble: But guess what...tomorrow is a new day! You get another chance. :drinker: I had a crappy day at work yesterday and was really pissed off when I…
  • WOOHOO!!! Congrats! It's such a great feeling. I'm in the same place too...my next size down jeans can button but they're still tight...at least they close now though! :drinker: Keep up the GREAT work and you'll get that full size down in NO time! :flowerforyou:  :flowerforyou:
  • Thanks for your response Tami! :flowerforyou: It was nice to read it. I'm also new and taking it slow. Reading everyone's input and what works and doesn't work is VERY helpful. I like educating myself on what actually goes in my body as well. Getting better slowly but surely. Congrats again on your fanTASTIC job!…

  • 10 mins on the elliptical, Upper body weights for 30 mins, 150 crunches, stretching for 10 mins, and then 45 minutes of a kick butt Step Aerobics class. *sigh* I'm done!
  • I weigh-in tomorrow so I'll be sure to post my starting weight then! I think I'll shoot for another 8lbs...maybe 10? :noway: Only if I feel like the luck of the Irish is with me! Great name for the challenge!
  • Is there a way to change my workout 'week' from Monday thru Sunday to Tuesday thru Monday? :ohwell: Just curious...that's the schedule I've been on and I'm not sure if I want to change MY weigh-in day or if I can change stuff up on here. Thanks for the help! :flowerforyou:
  • Last February I was traveling a LOT for grad school auditions, so I'd 'guess' :ohwell: that I was around 260-265. Currently I'm around 248 (with hopefully another few pounds off for my weigh in tomorrow!!!). Not too much of a difference but, let's try this again next year! Plan is to be down to 160 by then, with 100lbs…
  • At 72+ oz of water today. Great Question Sara_rojo....how should we log our daily water intake? Also, is it a 'mandatory' weigh in on fridays? I usualy do mine on Tuesday mornings...but might be willing to change it up.
  • If I'm using an elliptical machine that has me enter my age and weight, as well as monitoring my heart rate at periodic moments, how accurate is the number of calories burned? Should I trust what the machine says or what the MFP Exercise log says? The machine has usually been a higher amount of calories burned than what…

  • Well, I haven't posted anything about my weight loss success so far...so here it goes.
