I use oats a lot in cooking. It makes a great filler plus fiber in burgers. I toss a handful in my ground beef or ground turkey and mix it up with a small amount of water or skim milk to moisten it. I use skim milk. It makes the chicken so tender! Or you could use a fat-free chicken broth, or even fat-free italian dressing if you want a little more flavor.
