I am slowly working my way through the Zumba DVD set. If you have good knees, I would recommend it as a beginner. I'm 24 yrs old and started at 246.5 lbs with a height of 5' 5.5". I found the beginners program challenging but doable.

I knew wrestlers in high school who did this. But it does not help with the long term.. perhaps she thought she looks better in black plastic.

I learned recently that diabetics cannot eat watermelon because it has unbelievably high sugar content. Bananas are also high in sugar. Try eating fruits with lower sugar content. But I agree with most everyone else - fruit sugars are better than processed sugars, when eaten in moderation.

I'm halfway through the second book. My friends recommended the series to me, a lot of them couldn't put it down. The writing is pretty poor, and somewhat akin to porn. I'll finish reading the series, but I'd rather be spending time getting steamy in my own bed! (I'll lose more calories that way..) ;P
