I feel the exact same way you do except I don't have health issues to explain my failure. I am an emotional eater and the last 3 years have been an emotional roller coaster for me so my binge eater has gotten completely out of control.

Maybe if you know you're not going to have time to go to the gym, try fitting in a walk during you're free period if you have one.

I haven't bought anything new but I have a whole tub full of size 18 jeans that I could wear 7 years ago and I'm determined to get back into them rather than buying new jeans in the size 20-22 that I'm currently wearing.

I'm southern so I'd have to say fried chicken, mashed potatoes and biscuits and gravy. And if I really want to splurge I throw in some fried okra or squash.

I love pita pockets filled with canned chicken breast, broccoli and cheese, dijon mustard and tomatoes.

You can roll up a piece of ham, turkey or roast beef with a piece of provolone in a tortilla (any kind). Then pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds to melt the cheese.

I like swai filets. They have a buttery, non-fishy taste and are really easy to cook. I just throw em in a skillet either with olive oil or cooking spray put a little seasoning on em ( I like Cavendar's or fajita seasoning) and cook em til their flaky.

I gave up sodas and sweet tea (mostly I still have one maybe once every two weeks). Now aside from my 2 cups of coffee every morning I only drink water. Two months ago I was drinking a gallon of sweet tea a day.

Easy chicken pot pie. Reduced fat cresent rolls, reduced fat cream of chicken soup, frozen mixed veggies (thawed) and a little salt, pepper and garlic powder and chicken of course. Just mix everything together put the cresent dough on top and bake til the crust is done.
