@jamielynas, in response to your comment about the buffet eating. I did the week in the hotel thing with buffet and found for all meals there were healthy choices available, did not log as couldn't as not online and did not want to be doing it, but did make healthy buffet choices, small portions, avoiding the naughty stuff…

Hi there, I started my journey in January 2013. In early March I went on a weeks holiday to Paris and was unable to be online to log my foods, I was determined not to gain weight on my hols, so even though in hotels and eating out I made healthy choices, I have learned that no matter where you are there is always a healthy…

Hi, welcome to the journey! I am a daily committed logger and have lost all my weight since January 2013, lost some every week, I am not an exercise pal however as I have a back injury that limits me to light walking as in chronic pain. But I have lost weight regardless, feel free to add me if you want. If you only want…

I have noticed this! I am down a shoe size since starting my weight loss in January 2013....and boots that I wore are too big now on my now skinnier calves...but yes, apparently you can lose a bit of fat off your feet, bizarre. I remember when I was pregnant and had a lot of fluid retention I went up a shoe size then.

You look like a new man! Literally, well done on awesome weight loss, you look so much healthier and happy :-)

That's disgusting, they should take that and have it tested to see what it is, reminds me once of finding a weird object with hairs on it in a packet of low fat corn chips, they got sent back to the supplier who went back to the manufacturer and it got tested in a lab, it was a bit of cleaning cloth, complete with cleaning…

Hi there, first of all, well done on the weight loss! I can only share…

In answer to your question about losing 2lbs a week as a goal, are you reaching that with what you are currently doing (not sure how long you have been going) I have been on a 1200 cal a day limit since January 4th 2013, am just under 30lbs gone now and can't do much exercise due to chronic pain from a severe back injury.…

I agree, with so many calories still available your body could actually kick into a higher gear if you ate something and used some more of those up, doesn't have to be all of them, go for lean proteins or low GI foods that will help you feel full. But if you are really hungry and know it's not thirst or boredom and have…

Hi, I used to think eating after 8pm was a bad move. But have been doing MFP since January 2013 and been on 1200 cals a day since then, I am often snacking up to 11pm at night but always on healthy options like fruit, celery/carrot sticks with salsa, low fat rice crackers etc - I have had steady weight loss every week…

Awesome effort - way to go! Keep going! :-)

I am 5"5 and started at 209lbs give or take, have lost nearly 28lbs since January 4th this year. I am on a strict 1200 cal a day limit, I hardly exercise due to a back injury so very sedentary, I have lost an average of 1.6lb per week overall and lost something every week. I increased my raw salads, veg, fruit and lean…

Well done you! Awesome weight loss and lifestyle change!

I do a whole punnet of button mushrooms fried in Frylight oil which has hardly any calories, with wholemeal bread and cream cheese spread. Very low in cals and healthy and filling.

Nice comeback from the Aunt Sabotage AJ!

Great news! Woot!

I think it was called the Hollywood diet, ate nothing but pineapple for days, then kiwifruit, then something else, I swear I was pooping kiwifruit seeds for days! LOL.....very unrealistic to keep up...

Hi - I started in January this year and have been on a strict 1200 a day limit, most days I don't even use that up, it's more like 900-1000 cals on average, I have lost every single week and that's with very limited exercise (have a back injury). For me, the low calories are working when nothing else did and I do believe…
