  • You all look great. Thanks for extra inspiration!
  • You can add me! I'm over 40 years...won't say how far over! I would like to lose 84 more pounds. I log in daily and like having MFP pals to share with. :) I'm pretty much a vegan at this point, so you'll get lots of support from me about eating your veggies!! Best wishes.
  • I have a bad knee...no lunges, squats, or impact...so I do an upper body cardio on the punching bag with no weight on that knee. I beat the crap out of that bag, and my husband is amazed at the amount of sweat. I tell him that he better not get out of line or else! :) You might be able to modify a boxing routine from a…

  • However you decide, make sure to rinse it very well before you cook it or it will have a biiter, soapy taste. It's good with diced tomato, cucumber and onion with a little Italian dressing.
  • SUBWAY! Take some good snacks so you aren't starving when you get a chance to stop :)
  • I'm not a meat eater, but I do cook it for my family. If you have a slow cooker, throw 4 pounds of your favorite lean mean in large slabs (chicken breasts, beef, or whatever) in with 1 small can of tomato paste, half a chopped onion (or a little handful of dehydrated onion), some garlic powder, 2 tsp of boullion, 1/2 cup…
  • I think everybody feels like that sometimes. Even my 10 year old son got super frustrated the other day because he was having a bad hair day! I don't know if you can make that feeling forever disappear, but I like to pray or meditate and remind myself how far I've come. If I'm really down, I'll make sure I try to spruce up…
  • I think sometimes people do notice but don't want to say anything! When people notice and comment, then they are also acknowledging that you were heavier. So, they let you keep it private. Don't think that they haven't noticed! If you are dropping sizes, then people cant help but notice! :) keep up the good work!
  • I cook meat for my husband and son, but I always think it smells bad. What gets me, is that when my husband smells it, he tells me, "Nope, smells fine to me." It could just be me. I took my son on a tour of a butcher shop at the supermarket, and I've never quite gotten over the smell of rancid meat. There were garbage cans…
  • Well, I have the same problem, too. I like the suggestions. For my family, we have made a deal. We can go out to dinner on the weekend IF we go on a family hike for a minimum if 3 hours. That keeps me on my diet most of the day and I don't feel bad ordering a nice dinner that night...plus all the hard work inspires me to…
  • In the eye!? That's horrible! I get really stiff joints, especially in my hands. I wake up and they just wont even work. I have really cut back on sugar too, so maybe that's why I'm seeing improvement. Good to know. Take care.
