I don't have PCOS, but I did battle unexplained infertility. It took 20 months and 2 IUIs for me to get pregnant with my daughters. I now have identical twin girls who will be 4 in June. Feel free to add me if you'd like. I know all too well what it feels like to want a baby and not be able to get pregnant.

Youtube. I found Jillian's Michael's 30 Day Shred on there and I know there are lots of other workouts. You can also do all kinds of things with just your body weight, like other people have said- push ups, ab work, lunges, squats, walls sits- all kinds of things.

I use the tape measurer that I use for sewing. But you can get one anywhere- Target, Wal-Mart, grocery store.

I'm almost done with week 3 and although I've lost no weight, I can see a difference in my body. I'm going to do my day 28 measurements this weekend, but when I measured my waist last weekend I had lost an inch and a half already. I can definitely tell that my upper body is stronger. I'm really happy with it so far.

I'm 3 1/2 weeks into P90X. I change it up slightly, though, and run at least once a week- skipping one of the normal cardio type workouts. I love to run, so I didn't want to give it up, but I needed something with strength work and a set schedule. I don't belong to a gym. I work out at work 4 days a week with my bosses (a…

We're very similar. I started at about 179 and I'm at 173ish right now. My goal is to be about 160, or in the 150s, maybe. Although, right now I'm ignoring the scale and focusing more on how my clothes fit and my measurements. I've lost an inch and a half around my waist in 3 weeks of P90X and the scale has not moved.

I don't have any advice for you because I am in the exact same boat. I've been eating well and working out since the start of the year and I've barely lost any weight. I started P90X 3 1/2 weeks ago, though, and as of Saturday I had lost an inch and a half around my waist. I'm trying to focus on losing inches instead of…

I'd love to be at about 160 or even lower- I'm about 173 now. But what's more important to me than the number on the scale is how I feel and look. I want to be toned and look good and feel good about myself. I'm doing P90X now and have already lost 1.5 inches from my waist (at 3 weeks in), which I'm really happy about even…

I don't have an answer for you, but I have the same issue. I was measuring myself this weekend and I've lost an inch and a half off my waist in the past 3 weeks, but my hips have gotten about a half in bigger. I guess that explains why my pants haven't gotten looser all around. Hopefully someone will have an explanation…

I usually do it right after the strength workout since I'm already sweaty and warmed up. Some days, though, I don't have time to do it right after and I do it later in the evening after I put my daughters to bed. I think you're fine doing it anytime, as long as you do it.

Great work! I'm doing P90X now and I might turn into a BeachBody junkie, too! I love it!

I like veggies dipped in hummus. Yum!

Sign up as a runner and run what you can. Don't worry about what other people are doing. You'll do great!

I ran my first (and only, so far) half about a year and a half ago. I used RunnersWorld.com to come up with a training plan and followed that. I also used that to do my first 10 miler. I really like the way they plan things out. I didn't do the speed work or intervals because all I was worried about was finishing. I'm…

That sounds delicious! I'm going to have to try it.

More sports bras- now that I'm working out 6 or 7 days a week my 4 sports bras weren't cutting it. A Polar FT7, just got that last week. Chin up bar I do most of my workouts at our small gym at work- and use the P90X DVDs that my boss bought and let's me borrow for the weekends. I'm hoping to need a new bathing suit come…

I glanced at your diary, too. I don't think you're eating enough. You need to figure out what your BMR is and make sure you eat at least that. Of course, this is coming from someone who works out every day, watches what she eats and still can't lose weight. :)

I stick with regular sugar, I just try to limit it. I have the same migraine issues with artificial sweeteners. I agree with the previous poster about trying honey in place of sugar. Good luck!

Can I friend you so you can help encourage me? I'm 33 and a mother of 3 1/2 year old twins. I'm 5'8" and started MFP at 179, which was my heaviest other than when I was pregnant. I've only lost a few pounds so far. I'm also a runner, although not doing too many races these days- I'm working on getting to more of those. And…

I wish I knew. That's my exact trouble area, as I imagine it is with a lot of women. I'm sure carrying twins for 36 weeks didn't help my cause.

You look great! I have the same issue with the scale. My mom keeps telling me that I'm looking more fit- other people have told me the same thing, too. I don't see it yet, but I'm loving working out as much as I do, so I stick with it. I just hope I can see the difference soon. Scales are evil little things, aren't they?

I have. I had my vitamin D level tested last year around this time after suffering from a sprained foot. Something I said to my orthopedist made him tell me to get them tested. It was low. Around that same time I was also having issues with depression and just not feeling like myself. I started taking vitamin D and it…

I totally feel you. I've been feeling much the same way. I'm about 5'8" and about 173 pounds. I've been working out 5-7 days a week for about a month now. Before that it was 3 days a week, at least. I'm not have luck losing much weight, but honestly I'm not that concerned about that. I feel better about myself now. But…

That sounds delicious! I now know what I'm having for breakfast tomorrow. :)

I'm in, but with a modification. I'm going to make sure to do some kind of workout every day, but it won't always be 30 Day Shred. I run 3 times a week, do yoga one and do other stuff, too. I'd already decided to give up soda (which I'd really limited since the first of the year) but I'll join you in dropping the other…

Yes, I wear underwear to work out. Of course, 2 or 3 of my weekly workouts are done at our small gym at work, so I don't really want my coworkers seeing me with no panty lines...

I walk at 4.0 and run at 6.0, but I'm a runner recovering from an injury, so I know how fast I can handle. Running at 4.something is a great place to start, especially as you're increasing distance.

I'm at the same spot as you in C26k- I did W3D2 this morning. I'm actually looking forward to that 20 minute run. But I'm a runner coming back from foot surgery, so it's hard for me to go as slowly as I need to. I agree with other posters- don't psyche yourself out. I remember my first 3 mile run a few years ago and I…

"Livin' on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi. It's always on my race mixes. Also, "Where the Devil Don't Stay" by Drive-By Truckers. It's one of my favorite songs and the beat makes me want to run faster. Another song that motivates me that no one would know is by a band called Steve Brown and the Bailers- a blue grass band from…

This song came on my iPod when I was on mile 4 of my first 10 mile race and it totally motivated me to keep going. It was awesome! And perfect timing.
