I love Rudolph the red nosed reindeer. Now, I can wear the Rudolph pajamas my husband bought me last Christmas!

I burn about 135-150 per short 25 min workout. I'm sure there are longer workouts, though.

I have been using kettleworx 3 times a week for 5 or so months. I like it because it's a little core, cardio, and strength wrapped into 25 minutes. I just progressed to 15lb kettlebell, and now it's very challenging again. I have lost at least two inches in my thighs since I started.

I had mine out at the end of February. I haven't really noticed a difference. People promised me that I would run to the bathroom, but for me it's the opposite. It hasn't effected my losing weight, either.

It's only one day (I think). Don't let an episode of overindulging turn into weeks and months of indulging. Get back on today with your eating and exercise goals. Also, think how far you have come already.

This is interesting. I am currently 48% fat (shameful), with 137 lbs lean mass. When I used the calculator, I plugged in a goal of 25% fat, and it gives me a goal weight of 183, which is very close to the goal I already chose (180).

The women's health book is great. It has lots of variations on common exercises, so you'll be sure to get the workout you need with the equipment you have on hand. I bought both books in this post from amazon.

Lmao! That is priceless. I love your calorie goal, BTW.

I have lost 51lbs so far, still have 80 more to go! Would like some friends committed for the long haul!
-
Mine is set to 1.5 loss weekly. Most weeks I lose 2 pounds. When I have less to lose (still have 80 to go), I will move to 1 pound. I want my calories!

Bump!

Thanks for the post. I know in the beginning months, I was very focused on cardio, elliptical trainer, etc..for the last couple months I have cut cardio way back and increased my strength training to a heavier lifting routine 2-3 days a week. While the strength workouts don't burn as many calories as my cardio ones, so far…

Thanks for the great post.

Try to just get a few pieces. Like right now, I wouldn't purchase long sleeve items as summer is coming! Don't overlook places like sears, jcp, or bealls for low priced items.

We have similar stats. I net 1500-1800 daily. There is a group on here about eating more and losing. The problem with your strategy is eventually you can't sustain and be satisfied on 500 net calories.

I like Thomas' Bagel Thins, everything flavor.

Thanks for sharing such a thoughtful and personal story.

I think you should return the watch, buy a HRM with a chest strap for accuracy. My polar ft4 was $60 on bodytronics and is a popular and recommended HRM on this site. Until then, I would divide MFP calories burned by half and use that.

Thanks for posting!

I seem to have a maintain week every other or every third week, then a good 2-4 pond drop. I feel the same, but determined to keep at it. There is a part of me that feels cheated after exercising and counting every calorie that crosses my lips and there is no loss that week.

Sounds way off.

This sounds interesting.

I'm going on three weeks doing Kettle Worx kettle bell routine, and it's pretty fun. The site recommends starting with 5 pounds for women, but I started with 10. Like another poster said, make sure you can handle the weight you choose for the duration of the workout. Also, make sure it has a nice wide handle.
-
I just threw a kettle bell routine in the mix, pretty fun to do.

Just what I needed! Love this!

This is very interesting.

Bump

That is incredible! I want to see your 30 and 90 day pics.

Say you total, 62 pounds!
