You can also try a C25K app, there are many. I liked to use this to start because everything was clearly laid out for me. Even now, as I'm training for my first half marathon, I like following a plan. Good luck!

Varying activity is good. If you are interested in running, try a C25K app. I did one about a year ago, now I'm running 3-4 times a week.

This. The race is only a couple of weeks away. Finish your race. Then, make sure you get an accurate idea of what your true TDEE is. You don't want to take too steep a cut with only 10lbs to lose. Good luck with your race!

I have horrible upper arms. My stomach hangs near to the ground when I am in a push-up position. It has taken me just over 3 years to lose my weight so far. I plan to have an arm lift in the near future. Later, I plan to have some breast work done and a tummy tuck. I think it's a combination of factors that depends on…

Great job on your loss! I have to tell you how much I like your "element of confusion" shirt! Keep up the great work!

You should do it as the app instructs you to do. If you can comfortably run the 5k distance, you should be able to start your app around the 8 week mark if it includes the 5k portion. I am just completing the 10k bridge portion of C210k after never being able to run before in my life. Good luck!

Maybe you can do this every other day? You haven't been exercising so you might want to ease into it. Don't be ashamed, keep at it. Every time you do the workout, you will get a little better. Good luck!

Welcome to Mfp! I am 35 years old, standing at 5'10" tall and currently weigh 204lbs. I run 3x a week and lift weights for 1 hour twice a week. I eat around 1800-2100 daily depending on activity. My tip is to log accurately and be consistent. It has taken me over 3 years to lose the weight so far, so it's important to not…

Follow the tips given. Weigh your food using a scale. Log everything. Be honest about your exercise. If you are following Mfp calorie goals then you are supposed to eat back your exercise calories. 19 days is too soon to see a trend. You need to be consistent for a length of time to properly gauge your results.

What is PIYO?

I get up at 515 to exercise. You can do it. Can you do something at home? That would eliminate a lot of time spent traveling.

Great progress! Keep up the awesome work! I consider myself an Mfp addict!

What an amazing story! You are incredible! Would you care to share any program tips or training wisdom for other runners? What type of training helped you as a heavier runner when you started? I enjoyed all the photos and running stats, it makes me wish I'd tracked my own journey better!
