I started Ripped in 30 on March 19th and was doing really well. I had a 2.75 inch loss in the first week. Then my schedule got crazy and I couldn't find the time to fit it in. I never did any of the other DVD's. I have 30DS, so I think I'm going to restart (and get out of this candy coma since Easter) with 30DS and then…

You look great! You've got the right attitude too! Good luck on your 5K, you've been training well so I know you'll do fine! Get wrapped up in the atmosphere, it's so awesome!

Thanks for the post. You cleared up why I saw tofu in them when I saw them in the grocery store. I could have sworn they didn't have tofu so that confused me (when I was looking into it 2 years ago). I'll have to go to a health food store and try the dry frying method and have my family retry them. Thanks again!

Natalie, I'd encourage you to look at some success stories for 30 Day Shred or Ripped in 30 or any of the Jillian Michaels workouts. One consistent theme you'll see is that the people say they saw more inch reduction than weight loss. Their pictures are very motivating too. It is for that reason that I joined a group that…

I usually have plain Fage or Chobani yogurt and mix one packet of Splenda in it to sweeten it up. That way I get the benefit of the protein and thicker, more filling yogurt as well as the sweetness without the extra calories. Yum!

I've been on a buffalo chicken kick, this will be great to make it on my own! Thanks!

My daughters do the Wii Zumba with me. We love it! Eventually I'd like to try a class, but for now with the time I have available and the need to learn more moves the Wii Zumba is enough for me. I can't wait to branch out though because I always felt like if I could go to a dance club everyday that would be the perfect…

I'm completely up for it! I just got my DVD on Friday and planned to start today or tomorrow so I'll wait a day and keep up with the group! Thanks for starting this!

If registration starts at 8am, I'd plan on getting there close to that time. Leave everything in your car, including your water. There will be water stations and most likely they will hand out water bottles at the finish line. Don't feel self conscious about being alone, use that time to walk around and get warmed up and…

I'm pretty psyched...I just bought Ripped in 30 tonight and can't wait to start. I want to use it as a supplement and still do my running or other cardio, but everyone's 30 Day Shred and Ripped In 30 results have been really motivating. I just have to remember to take "before" pictures and measurements.

Congrats! What a great NSV!

I'd be curious to what others say as well. That has been something I was considering once I reach my goal.

Fluffy Berger.......ok, East Berger, but pretty strange anyway!

I'm glad you asked this question, I always wondered that too. I remember when I ran my first 5K 2 years ago and this guy said to me, "I've been trying to catch up and pass you through the whole race." That really made me feel good. My goal was to finish and not come in last and I did that plus beat many other people. I'm…

I tend to get shin splints in the first 2 weeks of walking/running. I started running 2 years ago and remember that pain for about 2 weeks. Then I got out of running for a year due to a change in job position and change in schedule. About 2 months ago I started running again finally (and worked it into my schedule since I…

Great info, thanks!

You look great! Keep it up! I wish I would have taken "before" photos because I feel a difference in my clothes, I just don't feel like it shows as much as others I've seen with the same weight loss. Anyway, this is about you, and you are rocking that dress, congrats!

I weigh myself then, but I don't mark that weight down since I expect a higher weight. I actually weigh myself almost every day just to keep myself in check, I just only enter my weight once a week or every 2 weeks if it falls at that time of the month.

You look great! You look pretty happy too, good job!

Great job! I'm getting close to joining you, can't wait!

That's a great story and great realistic advice! Congrats!

I'll be 40 in 2 weeks :( I have 2 beautiful daughters , 18 and 21) and I also had a goal to lose over 100 ibs. At this point I've lost 21 lbs. so I have just under 100 lbs. to go now. Feel free to friend me! I love reading the success stories and keeping connected with MFP to keep me focussed.

I found this website if you're thinking of times when you go out to eat or don't have a scale available. It has comparisons such as a deck of cards = 3 oz. of meat, 1 tsp. of peanut butter = a lipstick cap, and 1 cup of pasta = 1 baseball just to name a few.…
