  • Try FitnessBlender.com. They have LOTS of great workouts including ab-specific, weights and pilates. I'm a noob, so I'm rocking some Level 1 workouts, but you can do whatever you are comfortable with!
  • I don't "Fat Girl" nearly as much as I used to, now that I stop to think about it, though I still use the phrase. When I worked at Dunkin' Donuts with my (now) husband, we would build our own breakfast sandwiches. Mine was english muffin with (in this order) cheese/sausage/cheese/bacon/cheese/sausage. If I was feeling…
  • I think this is because you are using those muscles the remainder of the day, so they can't become static and cramp up nearly as easily. I run, and I used to just sit the rest of the day after a long run, and I'd be miserable for days, but now, after a long run, I'll wander around a mall or something for an hour, and the…
  • Mine is a very convoluted way of doing it, but I think it's pretty close. First, I put the marinade recipe into the recipe builder - but only 1/2 a recipe. Then when I log it I say I had 1/3 of the recipe (there are 3 of us I cook for). The reason I do it is this: I have a lot of marinade left over (I could measure it, but…
  • Will you not have internet or mobile service? You don't have to be on-point with everything you do, but if you can open the app every day, it counts as logging in. If not, do you have someone at home (parent, SO, buddy) who you trust enough to log in for you? They wouldn't have to actually LOG anything for you, but they'd…
  • I've always calculated it that a recipe will 'soak up' 1/2 the entire recipe. So if I'm cooking for 4 people, that is generally, what, 1/8th of the total recipe, and I'll log it thusly. If I'm boiling and thickening the marinade to a sauce, I'll say I eat 1/4 of the total recipe.
  • Hello, fellow ARFID!!!! I'm a Texture-Avoider. Be prepared for some heinous people on this board. A lot of them don't understand why we 'can't just be a grown up and put food in our mouths'. I hate to sound so negative, but it's true (go check other boards). Anyway, all I can tell you is to eat what you can, in moderation,…
  • I don't know if you can find this one in AU, but I use this one. It's unflavored and unsweetened. I mix it with powdered peanut butter (PB2), some sugar-free chocolate syrup and ice for a morning smoothie on the way to work. I have MEGA texture issues and this is not gritty or chalky or funky at all. Has a smidge of an…
  • Wow, I could have written this post almost word for word! I love sugar, especially in baked goods (cookies, cake, danishes, etc). I've taken to only baking for special occasions precisely for the reason you mentioned - it's so easy to eat a scoop here or a scoop there, and before you realize it, you've eaten a dozen…
  • Time to work on my OWN work, at the pace I like to work on it. I don't want to cover the front desk because the girl (who was just off for a month) took a day off. I don't want to cover the Records desk because he's going to lunch. I want to do what I NEED TO DO without any interruptions.
  • Dihidrogen monoxide really is a multitasker! I can use it to make soups, stews, cook pasta, and even wash my hair with it!
  • I remember my Good/Well from Mr. Feeney on the last episode of "Boy Meets World" - he tells them to "go out in the world and do good" and Topanga asks if he meant to say "do well" and he said no. I lost it, with snotty tears...
  • Bosses who tell you to do one thing, then treat you like an idiot because they expected you to do someting else they never told you to do.
  • When computer applications crash and everyone thinks that I know how to fix it.
  • I love the hell out of this! "Section 8 Speech!"!! Hahah!
  • People using txt speak in real life! I've actually had bosses and supervisors say "LOL" in business meetings. Also, people in the news or on tv using initials as words: "The QB got a TD in the last minute!" No, the "Quarterback" got a "Touchdown"....
  • Bosses who think that they know how to do everything and type a letter and ask you to simply print it, then when you do, they notice an error and tell you to fix it and reprint it. I just went through TEN versions of a damn letter that, if they'd given it to me in the first place, would've taken ONE version to complete.…
  • coworkers who aren't beyotches and can do their jobs on a daily basis without requiring other coworkers to cover their shifts or their butts. Le Sigh..... I also want Publix cake and a big soda.
  • I second doing it as a meal. That way when you pull up "Sandwich" (or whatever you want to call it), it will add the individual items (bread, mayo, cheese, meat) to your journal, rather than "Ham Sandwich". I do a lot of meals like this (especially smoothies - I have a base recipe that I add components to, so I add…
  • Those tiny boxes of Milk Duds or Dots. Smarties. Sixlets. I love a good Reese's Cup, but I live in FL and they would get crushed or melted because of the heat (even at the end of October!). And, of course, CANDY CORN!!
  • In my opinion, it should depend on the age of the child. Kindergartners playing pee-wee soccer? Give them a participation ribbon and a pizza party. Sixth-grade soccer? Pizza party and maybe awards like "Most Goals Kicked" or "Most Yards Run" - something measurable. But not a trophy or prize for solely being part of a team.…
  • They aren't really mantras, but I do favor a cadence of "MotherF^*&er" when it's really hard, and just recently I had to tell myself, "You sat through <all the grinding to get> crowns, you can get over this hill!"
  • People who cheat traffic. There is a road in our city that is very busy, when you have to turn left onto it. Generally the turn lane will be 10-20 cars deep, waiting their turn. It annoys the crap out of me when you see people speed by, then pull a U-Turn to turn on to that road - doing this means that the turners in the…
  • Parents who don't know how to properly use the drop off circle at my kiddo's high school. #1 Our circle has space for about 20 cars. Lazy parents with special snowflake children will pull up to the area that is covered and stop, effectively blocking the 19 other cars behind them from also dropping off their kids! #2…
  • Not healthy at all, not even one here and there. I started smoking when I wasn't even a teenager, stealing smokes from my grandmother. I was never a heavy smoker - I topped out at a pack a day - but I smoked for almost 20 years. I quit 8 years ago, but I still feel the effects of it. As for okay or not, I'd say Not Okay,…
  • Oh, I wish you didn't say this... I just recently discovered that there are WaWas really close to Disney World (where i go a LOT)... I can just imagine how delicious that would be in hot cocoa!!
  • I know, right?! It seems so weird, until you use it :)
  • I'm quite proud of myself - I think I've only had 3 since we stopped!
  • I have that one, it's pretty good, but I also have this one, and it's so much better - there is a flap in the front to adjust how tight you want the girls to be held in (super-tight for running, less tight for yoga or chillin')…
