I climb stairs at least 6 times throughout a normal day. Personally, I don't log it as exercise, I just consider it part of my normal daily activity.

I usually set a radio station on my iphone to whatever genre I'm in the mood for. Today it was 90s rock

35-70 minutes of cardio(depending on if I get to do 1 or 2 walk/jogs) 6-7 days per week, and 20-30 minutes of stretching, calisthenics, strength training. 6-7 days per week.

Most of the stuff I see says you can't really target fat loss in one particular region. The advice I read is keep doing cardio and watch your fat intake and it'll come off.

I can now tie my t-shirt in a double knot around my waist with my sleeves while jogging on hot days. I couldn't do this before My compression shorts don't compress much anymore BTW, there are some very interesting and amusing things posted in this thread. Congrats to all of you

I was 230 lbs when I started. I'm probably taller than you so for reference sake, I was about 40-50 pounds overweight. I started slowly because I didn't want to get too sore and discouraged and I certainly didn't want to pull a hamstring or something. I started by stretching and walking at a respectable pace. In the next…

You're exactly right. Well stated. Good luck to you

You're welcome. If you're short on time try to at least read the first one. It gets right to the point. The 2nd article goes into a little more detail

I eat 1 cup of Special K, 1/2 cup of milk, and 1/2 banana sliced in it 5 days a week. The other two days I eat 1 large fried egg, one slice of wheat bread and 1/2 cup of milk on the other two days. Boring I know, but you asked.

It sounds to me like his new lady friend has the security issues and your ex may be straddling the fence.

I don't think any noticable toning will show up in 2 weeks. You can lose a noticable amount of weight in 2 wks. It's not that uncommon (for some) to lose between 8 and 14 lbs your first two weeks

Dang, you killed it dude. Way to stick with it. Congradulations

I have a Health O Meter. I think it was $17 or $19 at walmart. I never have to reset it and it seems very accurate. Allegedly within .2 or a pound.

Whopper Jr.s are lower in calories than you would think but I usually go to subway because I can fill up more on the same amt of calories. 6" turkey on wheat can be had for about 270-330 cals depending on your condiments. Also, the 6" roast beef is only about 40 cals more than the turkey I think

Perhaps this was just a first-day welcome back thing.

" If so, did you start with the"girly" ones and were able to work up to regular push ups? I was be completely ecstatic if I were able to do regular push ups. It would be a first for me." I'm not familiar with the 100 push up challenge but I do modified (girl) pushups alot. I can do regular pushups too( not nearly 100…

Yeah, at least one meal a week, I eat whatever I want, sometimes 2. I just try not to totally overdo it when I do. Last week it was teriyaki chicken with fried rice at the mall, earlier this week it was a two piece spicy at popeyes, and today it was barbque'd brisket, potato salad and dirty rice. I went to the courts and…

There are many and some are already described in other posts but I'll just suggest doing "hurdle stretches" before anything especially if the problem is really low in the back. To do a hurdle stretch (modified) sit with one leg on a bed or couch and the other leg on the floor and bring your chest down toward the leg that…

GFL (good freakin luck) it sounds like you're off to a GFS (good freakin start), keep up the GFW!

I sautee pretty much exclusively with olive oil. I do add it to my calories however, if the olive oil puts me over on my cals, I don't really stress about it.

Personally, I don't really make any decisions based on sodium. I have enough to juggle with the calories, fats and carbs. With that said, I rarely add extra salt to anything and don't really eat salty snacks but I do eat 1 frozen dinner on most workdays. Some days I go over on sodium but most days I'm under so I don't even…

Yes there is. I found this place through an app on my phone too. I don't remember how I did it, I think there's some kind of sync feature or online backup when you log on your phone. Try logging out and back in again on your phone and maybe it will come up. Once you register or whatever, it automatically syncs everything…

Here's another one http://calorielab.com/restaurants/subway-au/3013 EDIT: sorry, that's australia. Try this one http://calorielab.com/restaurants/subway/6 About once or twice a week I have to eat on the road because of my job. I always go to subway because of the calories. Lately I've been getting roast beef or turkey on…

That Krispy Kreme Cheeseburger must be a beast. Down here people eat something called pork cracklins which is basically pork skin and pork fat deep fried in it's own lard with a box of salt poured on top. They're as lethal as they are good.

I'd always heard that Herschel Walker (former NFL player) never lifted weights and he's totally ripped to this day. You may want to search his workout routine.I don't remember exactly what he does, and I'm sure it's brutal and not for me or you but, you may be able to get some ideas from it and modify it or something

yep, the neck never falls far from the tree

I apologize. I think you found our guy.

This may not be medically sound advice but, as long as your body doesn't tell you that you need more calories, don't worry about your deficit. I pretty much responded the same way. I show a considerable deficit nearly everyday. I lost 11 lbs the first 14 days. It has slowed down to 2-3 lbs per week since but I was…

You had me at I eat lard

"I heard that a guys neck fell off after drinking a diet coke. How could this happen to where your head would be okay, but your neck would come flying off? I am NOT a doctor," You see, one little neck falls off, and people get all paniky. I'm gonna focus on the positives. Look how many people drink diet coke and…
