Absolutely agree! Make sure to drink water before you go, while you're there, and once you get home. Chinese buffets are notorious for lots of sodium. And honestly, enjoy yourself. You are there to enjoy a meal with friends. Slow down, be an active part of the conversations, and feel awesome :)

I still lost weight while on depo. Granted, I was only on it until I had my IUD done so just a couple of months. I have the Mirena IUD now and am having no problems losing. Years ago I was on various BC pills, but I wasn't actively trying to lose weight so I can't really help you there.

Thank you :flowerforyou: I've had mine for almost 2 years, and have lost weight just fine. Actually, most of my loss is from after I had it put in. Hormonal IUD's can cause hunger fluctuations, but how you react is up to you.

Yep, we'd be a seasonal group! Don't get me wrong, I love pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving, but that's about it. Although I was given a sample of pumpkin spice baking mix at work last week, and made muffins over the weekend that were good. But I do not go out of my way to buy pumpkin everything 3 months out of the year.
