I always drink malibu & diet coke, then I can alternate with just the soda. The carbonation makes me feel fuller :)

If I haven't been to a particular restaurant recently, I try to plan ahead what I'm going to order, usually choosing several options in case the menu has changed, That way I can allow enough calories to enjoy myself!

We bought a used Bowflex Treadclimber. It can be used as a treadmill, a stepper and an elliptical. I love it!

I love working out at home! We have a used Treadlimber, a used stationary bike, and a TV/DVD player set up in our basement. Last month, my husband hung a chin-up bar for me :) I can work out whenever I have time, even if my husband is out of town, I just wait until my boys are in bed.

I just bought a plain t-shirt type dress at H&M for $12.95. Actually, I bought one before Christmas and liked it so much I went back for another color!

Cup of coffee, vanilla greek yogurt, and a frozen sliced banana. If the banana isn't frozen or the coffee isn't cold, I'll throw in some ice cubes. Yum!

Every time I get close to meeting my goal, I add another few pounds. First I thought I could only lose 30 pounds, then I thought maybe 40, now I've reset my goals to lose 50 pounds. Only 9 to go!

I have cut way back on soda, so when I go out for drinks, I have rum and Diet Coke. Depending on the rum, it's about 60-80 cals per glass, and the carbonation fills me up. I work out at home, and when I'm not feeling motivated, I read all my MFP friends' updates: "So-and-so burned x calories". That always brings out the competitor in me...I want my status update to say I've worked out, too!

For me, it's all about self-esteem, and it's a vicious circle. If I take the time to do my hair, nails, makeup, and wear clothes I feel good in, I tend to make better choices about eating and working out...when I'm feeling shlumpy and wearing sweats and my hair is a mess, I don't feel as good about myself or as energized.…

I have a salad every day for lunch, but try to make it differently each day. Some days it's chicken and black beans with salsa, some days pepperoni and mozzarella cheese with Italian dressing. Hard boiled eggs are also quick once you make them, you can make egg salad with lowfat mayo, or add some mustard for deviled eggs.…
