Hi my name is Jo. I am a 28 year old office assistant at a wonderful 100 year old company here in SoWeGA. I have a great, loving husband and a cuddly little furbaby name Libby. I have been a member of MFP for a while but just started my life for real on June 12th. So far I have lost 39 lbs. and have a goal to lose 200 lbs.…

There is nothing wrong with "eating for the sake of eating" if you are eating for 'fuel'. Eat a lean protein like boneless skinless grilled chicken 4oz will run you about 300 calories. Also you can eat nuts or even Edamame. The body needs smaller more frequent meals (including snacks) to keep the metabolism going at its…

I am currently reading "Any Place I Hang My Hat" by Susan Issacs. In summary it is about: Amy Lincoln whose mother abandoned her when she was ten months old (just a couple of months after Amy's father went off to serve his first prison term), leaving her in the care of Grandma Lil, who shoplifts dinner on the way home from…

I started my journey on June 11th which was a Tuesday, so I weigh in every week on Tuesday...it gives me something to look forward to. I do it first thing in the morning when I get up and that way I know my true weight and don't get the depression of the fluctuation your body naturally goes through day to day.

I suffered two miscarriages(one single and one set of twin boys) not long after I got married (due to me being overweight), my husband and I have been trying for 5 years with no luck due to my weight... My reward will be being able to give my husband and myself the family we have both been dreaming of.

Mine is my first initial "L" and my last name Stillwell. The 1128 is randomness...which I'm great at.
