Smiliegrl: It took me awhile to get to a point that I could cut out the junk. I couldn't afford to throw away most of my groceries and start over so I just ate the right portion size of what I…

I like apples or celery with a little peanut butter. I used to be a big soda drinker. Love the carbonation so now for a treat I will drink a bottle of zero calorie sparkling water. I had the biggest craving today for a slice of marble cake. I had a return to do today at the store that sells my favorite cake and just decided that the return can wait until tomorrow when the craving has passed. I try and remove myself from the situation. Most of the time this means getting out and going for a walk. Once…

I really noticed it this month. I generally had mild symptoms but this month absolutely nothing. I think for me it was a major reduction in sodium and processed foods.

I think mine is only available to friends. Feel free to add me and snoop through mine too or ask questions about it. or anyone else who wants to see. I like seeing what others eat it sure gives me some great ideas that I wouldn't think of. I also struggle with the sodium... never realized how much was in all the processed…

I am motivated by how much better I feel after 10-12 days of clean eating and 2 hours of cardio per day. I have more energy and feed better. I sleep better at night, am not as winded and can finally keep up with my son. He is my next inspiration. I want to teach him how to be healthy and how important it is to fuel your…

This has always been a big debate on MFP. I think it is a personally preference. First of all your daily calories with out exercise already has a deficit. So you can eat all of your exercise calories and will still lose as you have already burned these off. Personally I have done it both ways. Currently I am not eating my…

Yep I get that all the time. One person thought I didn't like hanging out with her anymore because I didn't want to go out and eat like we always used to. I also get the It must be nice having so much time to exercise and cook healthy meals from scratch instead of from a box. I just say I have my priorities and tv is no…

New Balance 608 have been recommended many times. My dad has bad knees also and when I got him in a pair of these he said they were amazing and still to this day 7 years later that is all he buys. They are a cross trainer shoe tho instead of a running. And they are only about $50.

I have knees again. Been along time.
