  • At first I just had to force myself. I bought a water bottle because I found I just dont like drinking it out of a glass. I was addicted to Dr.Pepper and Pepsi, now I skip those and drink around 150oz a day of water and dont mind at all!
  • I weigh myself every morning as soon as I wake up and go to the bathroom. Usually just in my underwear. It makes me think about everything I am eating. If the number is bad, I know to re-evaluate my food, if its good its motivation! I only track it "officially" once a week though.
  • It would probably be more helpful to open up your food diary so we can see what you are eating.
  • Pepsi I was drinking 3-4 every day and nothing else. No water, juice, tea.....only Pepsi =/

  • After reading up on it and checking out reviews I personally decided to just order a pedometer that measures steps, distance and calories burned and a heartrate monitor. Together they were $50 and do exactly what I was looking for. Amazon reviews for the Fitbit are great though, everyone seems to really like it.
  • I try to remember that sometimes what you see isnt the whole story. We dont know whats going on behind closed doors or the circumstances that lead to what you see.   • I track before, then go back and make changes if I go off plan. It helps me to have a clear plan and see what im eating and like you, I can make adjustments as needed.
