Those guys are beyond ignorant and obviously scared they may be gay.

Very interesting replies. When I was a girl, a size 8 or 10 at 5'4" would never have been possible for somebody weighing 145. They would be in at least a size 14, maybe 16. I'm not complaining, mind you!! But if they keep adjusting sizes, people will be in the minus bracket!

Four of California's cities, including San Francisco and San Diego are in the top cities that have the least variable weather. That's where you should go. And so should I, since I'm in Hot as Hell Houston!

Nice! I can see a good difference. Funny how we sometimes have to let go of that number on the scale to see progress. :flowerforyou:

You have done so well. You should be really proud!!

I agree with VFit. She is now feeling good about herself and really IS more approachable. I know I carry myself like a whole different person when I'm thinner, even just a little thinner. Or when I fit into a smaller size and just look good in my clothes. I find myself taking more time with makeup and hair, and just feel…

That is so tough, but it happens. Don't say another thing to them. You can get support here, and when they see the changes in your body, they will say something and it could even be something positive! But the other part of this is that along with the changes in your body there will be changes in YOU! Your new confidence…

I get it. You've done so much and you know there's much more to do. Sometimes the to-do part can seem overwhelming and we forget all the work we've already done. You have worked so hard and feel trim and slim and then you see yourself still not trim and slim. It's weird, but it happens. I think it is much more a problem…

You'll get there. Keep an eye on that photo, your first big goal to achieve. Just think how you'll feel when you get there. Meanwhile, notice that you already feel better because you've dropped a bit of weight, can move more easily, and are daily doing something good. Good luck!!

Any day off is a problem for me. Those days spent mostly at home can be disastrous. MFP's diary and knowing my friends will see it are things I feel very helpful. Although it is still a challenge, I find weekends more tolerable when I have a special Sunday dinner scheduled--I can look forward to a nice drink, a small meal…

Hi. You asked so here's my opinion: Number one is so very flattering. Number 4 is good, too, but not as good as 1. 2 and 3 are NOT flattering. They make you look too old for one thing. Happy Event!!

In my forties went on anti-depressants for the first time. Settled on Prozac, which was rather new then. I loved how I felt for the first time in my life. I also gained 60 pounds! Now on Zoloft and no problems.

I have been a stress eater/binger for more years than I'm willing to admit. Don't beat yourself up. You're in a real hard place in your life at the moment, but it is temporary. It won't last forever. Fretting over making fattening choices in the evening after a rough day will only make you have one more thing in your…

You look just wonderful! Congratulations. Must have taken a lot of work and determination. What an accomplishment. And you look so much younger, too.

I saw her and thought she was very dishonest and was only doing this because she has made a deal to be paid for selling something. She reminded me of our politicians. She was anything but straightforward. Looks like she's knocked off some pounds, though.

Nice!

Great shots, and inspiring!
