Thanks everyone! Finally went through and added those of you who told me to. I've been out of commission with the flu so I lost track! So excited to have more friends!
-
I'm only 5'4". But thank you- I am taking that as a compliment! LOL. Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone! It's amazing to see how many people have similar goals as me and are in similar places in their journeys.
-
Than you everyone! I am really excited about my progress thus far and looking forward to finishing the last half of the journey!
-
I sent you an add! We are relatively close in what we have left to lose!
-
I have fitbit as well! Hoping to get the newer model when I get my tax return. I'd love to help you out! Definitely going to send you a friend request.
-
I love my fitbit but I need the same kind of motivation from people, too! I've lost 44lbs so far and have 33 to go. I'm going to add you as a friend and we can motivate each other!

Friend request accepted! I love chemistry. I've been taking a couple for my nursing degree. Organic Chemistry was tons of fun. Glad to see others who are getting close to their goals! It makes me feel warm and fuzzy to see others who are also succeeding.

Hello! I'm definitely going to add you asa friend. I've been looking for more motivation and new friends myself. It takes a while to get it to "stick" sometimes. But if you have determination you can do it!

Wow that's such a great loss so far! Congrats on all of your progress! I'm going to add you as a friend, I'm currently looking for more friends and support myself on the last leg of my own weight loss journey.
-
I'm going to add you as a friend! I find a lot of mymotivation comes from my MFP friends encouragig me or liking my posts just to let me know that someone is paying attention and giving a damn.
-
You sound pretty kick *kitten*. So I'm going to add you as a friend. I'm looking for more encouragement myself. And anyone with a calling to do a job like being a teacher- long hours, bad pay, and reatively thankless- has to have a good heart.

Hi Corrine! I'm definitely going to add you. It took me so many times to actually stick with weight loss. And I've had a few ups and downs over the last year- but even so, I have come back and haven't had any major gains from taking a few weeks off here and there. I would love to be friends and help encourage you!

Sending you a friend request! I've don eit so many times over the years- and starting last summer is the only time it really "stuck" for me. I love having more friends and am trying to get more active with friends/community again. :)

I would stick with 250-275 as an original goal, and when you reach that goal- re-evaluate where you want to be and what you want to do. For example, my goal right now is 150. And when I get there, I'm going to decide where else and what else I want to do. I don't want to set a goal of like "120!" and then stress over HOW…

#9. its just absolutely adorable. (if i can count correctly. its the one where you're sitting in front of the mirror.) also a huge fan of #5. i love to look at nice legs!

That is some excellent advice. I expected to plateau before I hit 200lbs, to be honest. I'm surprised I didn't. But I figure if I've made it more than 2 months, that I must have some gumption. I figure a lot of people who start don't last quite so long. And I'm really looking forward to showing off at Christmas how much…

Thanks so much for all of the kind words and encouragement! Now that I've reached this goal, I've made an appointment to work out a weights program with the trainer at the gym. I want to start working on my muscles, too. But I really wanted to PROVE to myself that I could stick with this before I wasted anyone's time like…

For me it's little things. The smile and wave does encourage me. I also love to get random compliments? You know. Like "Wow I love your shoes!" or "You look so cute in your workout clothes" etc. That kind of stuff is really a big boost to me. I had a woman tell me one day last week "Wow I see you here all the time! Keep it…

When I was in my early 20s I had a guy card me on a date because he didn't believe that I was actually 18. (A mutual friend set us up.) He then still had a hard time believing that I was actually 20something and not a teenager.

I had a baked chicken breast, some sweet peas, sweet carrots, and a bowl of cereal (i was craving cereal). I wanted more tomato basil spinach (seriously my new favorite thing) but I ran out of roma tomatoes. :(

I'm diagnosed with Bipolar II. Along with mild OCD. (In high school I was diagnosed with Depression / GAD but in my twenties my psychologist said it was likely a misdiagnosis and early signs of my bipolar disorder.) Everyone can feel free to add me. I just came out of a downswing when I started exercising again. In the…
