My mom used to try that every time she wanted to lose weight. Yes it works...but you will gain the weight back with a vengeance afterward if you don't have a solid plan. As an adult, I can now basically surmise that the cabbage diet is a low(er) carb diet, with very low calories. It's hard to maintain in the long run. Hope…

Stay hydrated. I get the worst aches during LCHF and lifting if I don't drink a ton of water. That's 60 oz. for me.

Sooo...today THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER TURNED DOWN FOOD I REALLY WANTED. FIRST TIME!! I was making a video for work. That's what I do. The event was a luncheon with Cajun food (my favorite). I told myself BEFORE that I would not eat any of that delicious gumbo, jambalaya, etoufee and fluffy, hot, spicy rice. And…

I haven't had one in a long time, so I'm really pumped. I lost 1/2 inch on my waist and some formerly bumpy body parts have smoothed out. I'm feeling good!:drinker:

I had a baby whoosh this morning....after losing several inches a few days ago. My whoosh was only .8lbs. But my math says I should be looking at the 3lb weight loss. I'm hoping the rest will follow soon--however, I've been doing a lot of resistance training, so I know my legs are holding lots of water.

I'm not an expert, but I'm the same height. I literally do not lose unless I eat around 1400 calories and burn about 500 of those off. You have to do what is right for your body.

You can do it!

I totally understand. I have stopped low carbing in the past before due that same thing, but don't sabotage yourself. Hang in there. Also...after initial weight loss calories do count a bit more. You might want to make sure you're still eating a deficit.

I've been yo-yoing for the past 3 years. It always starts when it's time to go on vacation. I drop 10-12 lbs., and within a month its all back. I am so goal driven. I can make anything work long enough to reach my goal. That has me working on re-evaluating my goals. Instead of looking good on the beach, I need to get…
