I agree - I want to wait and see how he does, but I feel like the waiting is such a long time! I hope they air the Christmas special here in the US, as that will be his first appearance I believe.

On another site I'm part of there have been some interesting discussions and there have been some wild speculations out on the internet. I've heard everything from a woman to the first black Doctor (which was speculated last time there was a change as well)…

Any comic book store, if you have any in your area (you can try to find out where here: http://www.comicshoplocator.com ). They actually have the comic books compiled into volumes now in various options (books, omnibuses, compendiums). You can also get them online as well at places like Barnes and Noble or Think Geek.

Did any of the comic fans get the free Walking Dead comic on free comic book day? I thought it shed some background light nicely on the Michonne and the Governor for those of us who hadn't been following the comic books all along (only the show), but I wonder if it did the same for those who had been following the comics?
