  • Didn't meet my goal yesterday--didn't feel well, was a work out rest day, blah blah blah.... :/ But I'm back on it today. Today's goal is 8,000 steps. I can do it! Have a great day, Karen
  • 8,024 steps yesterday. I'm consistently beating my general 7,000 steps per day goal, so I'm upping it to 8,000 today. Wish me luck!
  • Beat my goal yesterday with a little over 9,000 steps. Today I will try to get 7,000 steps. May be tough since I'll be in a car quite bit for work today. I'll do a short walk this morning and may do steps while I'm watching TV tonight to make up the difference of what I don't get during the day. Speaking of TV, did anyone…
  • Sadly, I didn't meet my goal yesterday--should have known it was too ambitious. I did get in 7,060 steps, which means I've exceeded my general goal of 7,000 steps per day for six of the past seven days. Yay me for that anyway. :) Today's goal is 7,000 steps. Work days are sometimes tough, but it is a cardio day so I should…
  • I met and exceeded yesterday's goal and walked 12,175 steps. Today will be more laid back and is my day off from aerobic activity, so 8,000 should be realistic; however, I'm going for 9,000. Wish me luck! -Karen
  • OK Mel, I'm assuming being chuffed is a good thing? I love that word! Congrats on your day!
  • Good morning! Yesterday I did 9,967 steps for 3.92 miles. Today I want to get 11,000 steps. To get there, I'm going to do a lot of house cleaning and organizing with a Leslie Sansone walking DVD thrown in at some point. Have a great day!
  • I'm 5' 2-3/4" (that 3/4 of an inch has always been significant to me-ha) and am shooting for 135. I'm comfortable with how I look and feel there. I can also maintain that weight. Below that is always a struggle. I get frustrated, give up and gain, gain, gain. Hopefully 135 is a reasonable goal that I can hang on to.
  • I'm in! I started using a Fitbit about a month ago. Amazing how my step count just keeps increasing--not where I want to be yet, but getting better.
  • I got to make both recipes over the weekend and just finished a lovely leftovers dinner!!! I loved the cabbage casserole and so did DH. Next time I'll cut back on the amount soup or use more veggies. It was a litle soupy for me. Like someone else did, I used ham steak. I also used seasoned panko breadcrumbs. I might try…
  • Last week's recipes were so good I cant wait for the new ones!
  • Hi Doug! Well, today is Tuesday and you last posted on Friday. How are you doing? I'm so glad you are regaining control over your life. I know from experience how very hard that can be. Hang in there. You aren't in this alone. -Karen
  • This was yesterday's lunch. DH and I both loved it! The only thing I might change is to add more broth at the very end to make it more soup-like. The consistency I ended up with was more like mashed potatoes, but I suspect that could differ every time you make it. Thanks to both of you for posting this week. These were two…
  • Made this for lunch on Saturday and it was delish!! I only made about half of the recipe. I also increased the amount of chicken and since I didn't have any laughing cow, I added TacoBell fire roasted taco sauce to give it a smokey component. Finally, I added sauted onions, celery and broccoli to bulk it up a little. I'll…
  • What wonderful thread! Please add me. I tend to make the same old things over and over, so I really need this.
  • Good morning! I am 5'2" and currently weigh about 150. I'm happy with my body at 130. That puts me at a nice size 6 or 4 and is a place where I can maintain. Below that is just a constant battle that I'm just not willing to fight any more
