  • you could do either, making sure you keep your back and chest straight, and pinching the shoulder blades. essentially, they can both work the same muscle groups. the bullhorn shaped bar will be more arms/shoulders, the wide grip bar more pecs/arms. just modify it for what equipment you have :)

  • hummus is really delicious, and totally easy to make if you want to. Sabra and Trader Joe's has awesome hummus, and you can dip anything in it (veggies, pita, etc). great protein and flavor!

  • growing up: fat. college: athlete, lost 75 lbs, strict diet and exercise. no alcohol. college grad: oh hey cool! i can finally eat and drink and have fun! 60 lbs later... here i am :P
  • if the food remedies aren't working, you can try a simple laxative like magnesium sulfate. CVS sells it, it's like $3 and comes in two flavors. ask the pharmacist there if you aren't sure how much to take. i've used that before, and it's helped.
