  • I'm so sorry for you loss :( I have recently been battling an eating disorder associated with anorexia. It started off as just wanting to lose weight but I became obsessed and kept exercising more and eating a hell of a lot less. Doing a lot better now though. I'm using my desire to build muscle as a way of making myself…
  • Nuts and nut butters. Beef jerky. Some greek yogurt - I mis some whey into this too for a pudding or mousse like snack. Snack cheeses are good for protein too
  • Really great information, thanks a lot! :)
  • What would you recommend for a warm up? Is it just an initial one or a warm up for each different exercise?
  • Well I've managed to get my calories up enough for my body to start getting muscle again (thank god. Losing my muscle was the worst!) so I think I'm ready to kick it up a notch anyhow :) Your advice is absolutely brilliant thank you! So I should aim to do 5 sets of 5 or say 3-4 of 8 on a heavier weight? Well it's a workout…
  • Try cutting out things one at a time. Try wheat, gluten and maybe lactose? One at a time of course so you can tell
  • This :( I can only view a catched copy
  • I have this all day everyday! If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Otherwise, avoid gassy foods, carbonated drinks and salt. Drink plenty of water too.
  • I read somewhere that apples were really good at giving you a boost
  • Obvious choices are cutting down on the obvious sources like pastas, potatoes, rices etc Cut back on higher carb fruits and starchy veggies and opt more for leafy greens. Load up on protein. Try and get some form of it in everything you eat through the day (so all meals and snacks). You can be low carb and still enjoy them…
  • The idea of PB2 is genius. Low calorie, low fat peanutty heaven. But mostly the fat in PB is healthy monounsaturated fat (in smaller doses) I'd be tempted to buy PB2 to spinkle on things or use for low calorie cooking but I'd rather just use a clean real peanut butter. Because I'm from the UK I can't get hold of PB2 easily…

  • Hey can I pm you to discuss further??
  • Ooooh thank you that sounds excellent!
  • ^^^^^ THIS!!! Man I miss not caring about food xD
  • Hi Kelsierose, Firstly just calm down and look at the facts. I don't know what else you've been eating lately but if you've finished your exams why not just say this was a final treat (your dad wanted it to be a treat anyway) before getting back on the horse? Calculating takeout calories is really difficult - especially…
  • That's really great info :) if only we had Sprout's Farmers Markets in the UK hehe

  • http://www.proteinpow.com/ Never tried any of the brownie recipes but she's not let me down so far!
  • I wouldn't use 'a little bit of honey' I'd use spoonfuls upon spoonfuls which will make my numbers soar. Hence looking for a natural alternative. Apart from which, honey makes my throat itch so that's why I asked for no honey suggestions :)

  • Does anyone know if a low sugar, high protein milk exists? I recently discovered how much sugar was in my skim milk :/ I'm in the UK btw

  • Porridge! I'm rarely hungry when I wake up but I LOVE my morning porridge. I have 25g of Scots oats, made with water and then mix in some protein powder. I also have a cup of green tea :)
  • I keep finding "natural flavours" in the ingredients. It's such an ambiguous term though, what flavours does it even mean?? lol

  • I was thinking of going for one of these? http://www.healthysupplies.co.uk/stevia.html Can anyone vouch at all? It's just an easier place for me to order from, being the UK and all

  • I really wanted to avoid truvia and pruvia and such. I've found a few versions of Stevia in white and liquid form but I can't decide what to do!

  • Yeah I'm a bit apprehensive to spend a load of money on it if it tastes funny :/ Can you let me know if it has any other ingredients? :)

  • I really don't know whether to try it or not. It takes a while to build up to the eating carbs after workout and I don't know if I could go without my morning porridge, lame as it sounds
  • Hi Joss, I only work out 3x a week so it might be difficult to do for me. I've onlyt just raised my calories to over 1000 after a huge struggle but at the gym I do a little cardio and then weight work. 4x a week I have an ab routine too. I can feel my stomach is strong but there's still that bit of fat on top. My posture's…
  • My results are a little confusing to me? My friend and I worked it out as 258g c, 80 p and 70.5 f? Does that sound odd to anyone? :S I'm 22, female, 158/9cm, 47kg I have an office job but workout with mostly strength training 3x a week...
