Thank you so much. Tomorrow, I go to work and face my co-workers. I feel like I want to wear a hat. I can hear it know, "Oh Cathy, you cut your hair (then hesitation), it looks really cute". Can't wait to face the music, oh well. But, I'll be looking good in 6 months or so, now there.

It's pretty short, pulled out at the top it's a little less than a 1/2 inch. Walking around today I noticed other black women w/ short do's and it was interesting. Though everyone's hair was short, every woman looked different. Just like complexion, we all wear our short hair differently. Funny, I thought everyone else's…

That's inspiring, because I'm not losing very much poundage, but I feel like I'm losing inches. Unfortunately I didn't measure my self before I started. I will definitely do it tonight. Continued sucess!!!

You're spot on! These guys are pushing the envelope!

Hang in there, when I first started I was starving too, it'll past. I still have cravings, but try to work through them. I do have to have my meals on time or it's a problem. I try to load my meals with lots of veggies so I'll have that sensation of fullness. Good luck on your journey, you can do this!!!::wink:

Beautiful!!!

I hate my stomach, but love my boobs. I hate my butt, but love my legs. I hate my hair, but love my smile. I hate my extra bedroom, because it's where all the junk goes, but I love my house.

Bad boy!!!

I did an Alaskan cruise this fall it was beautiful there. Cold, but I loved Alaska, would love to have a cabin along the shore!

That's always been my dream, to get out of the "fat ladies" store. My husband and I love to travel, but my fear is that if my luggage was ever lost I would be screwed. Plus sizes are not always easy to come by , especially if you in a foreign country. That's my goal to get into a size that would allow me to shop anywhere.…

Vavavoom!!! I'm hoping that I'm on the course for the same success, thanks for the motivation. You look fantastic and I'm sure you feel fantastic too! Keep at it!

I'm a newbie, but I wish you the best of luck. Hang in there, we can do this!
-
Good idea, I like it!
-
I agree, if you don't have the motivation bug this won't work. Step back and wait. When you're sick and tired of yourself you'll come back. Good luck!

I was talking about nursing school with my co-workers today and we all gained weight while in school. It's those "study" sessions that kill you. Everyone brought all kinds of goodies to those study groups, and I think we talked more about our personal lives than nursing. Study groups were no good for me. Before my last…

Congratulations!!! I keep thinking a year down the road is a long time. Hopefully, my year flys by like yours. Continued good luck and I wish you success at your new career!

Hang in there, sometimes the scale is not your friend! I'm still weighing in everyday, I can't seem to stop. It's my reward for a good day! That added weight will drop and you'll be pleasantly surprised the next time you weigh in.

I took NCLEX a gazillion years ago, but I took a class that prepped you for the exam and I had many study guides/test questions. I think the class was the most helpful, it was a 5 day course.

Try one Sobe (Coke product) and flaxseed oil capsules daily. They work wonders! You'll be shocked by what comes out.

Hi my name is Cathy and I've been a nurse for 22 years. I no longer do patient care. I work in an office setting. I've gained at least 20 pounds since starting here 7 years ago. I've lost that 20 lbs twice and now want to lose it again and an additional 40 lbs. I think I can do it with the support of my friends and maybe…

Oh that's not true! I worked in a Level 1 trauma center for many years and didn't think that all that walking back and forth to triage, taking up patients and the pushing gurneys was exercise. I gained 20 lbs at my new desk job. The weight gain was a combination of decrease activity and snacks in everyone's office. Don't…
