  • After coming down 50 lbs and being told that my Pluto costume not only fit, but had to be taken in...WINNING!
  • The last con we were at (Con-G), I wound up buying some baked crisps, apples, and cereal bars. Then at night I went and tried to eat as healthy as possible at the food court across the street from the hotel. Still lost 0.8 lbs while I was at it. Eating at least something light while you're there is better than eating…
  • I usually leave mine in the console, unless I'm putting Kinect Sports in. Both great workouts. Also, those apples sound delicious, how much sugar do you use?
  • I don't know if I'm getting the right kind, but it seems like turkey is something that you add to bacon to make much less enticing...
  • I use my HRM, which gives me something else entirely usually :P.
  • If you need bacon, I use this: http://www.kraftbrands.com/oscarmayer/bacon/fully-cooked-recipe-pieces.html A tablespoon is 25 calories and goes a LONG way. I cook up some egg beaters with fat free cheese and these in the morning. It's not the same as having bacon strips, but for the calories you really can't beat it.
  • 1.) Bought Kinect Sports. 2.) Played Kinect Sports for about 2 hours tonight. 3.) Drank a ton of water tonight while exercising.
  • I made some as well last night! I had them with some Pellicano's "Kids sauce" (It's a marinara sweetened with apple and orange juice...much better than I expected). The sauce was only 40 calories for a half cup, of which I only used 1/4 cup for the 2 muffins I had (although I wanted more muffins). Half cup of sauce for…
  • Wii is definitely the way to go for fitness. I'm going to get Zumba one of these days, but Just Dance 3 is extremely fun and the Wii fit is really nice for the half hour free step mode and as an added motivator to keep track of your progress/take measurements. Not that I trust the BMI (as a measurement) all that much, but…
  • Doing the free step on Wii Fit today to Austin Powers I think. I haven't seen it in a long time and it always makes me laugh. I should watch "How to Train Your Dragon" at some point since I have to do some voice acting work for an upcoming convention, but I'm procrastinating :).
  • I have to agree with this. I've been drinking a lot more water (I'm more towards the 12 cup/3 liter end, I should probably watch it a bit) and find that I'm more alert and am much less sluggish. People at work have noticed this too. I'm not sure if it is just the water or a bit of the calorie counting as well, but I…
  • I haven't been to a con since I started on the diet, but fortunately in promoting the movie my group did I've been able to get an exhibitor's table which will help immensely in bringing food with to the con. I will likely pack some apples and string cheese for sure, lots of water. Maybe make a couple turkey and fat free…
  • Although it's old, can't go wrong with "Best in Show".
  • I love the dandy version! I have his pink ballroom dress but need to shed some pounds before I wear it again. I'm hoping I have to have it taken in at the end of the year though if I lose enough weight ^_^.
  • I've thought about Ciel once I get to my target weight. Which version did you do?
  • Tailoring the cosplay to your body is everything ^_^ (Sometimes even sacrificing a bit of accuracy). My Sakura skirt is a bit longer than it should be according to the anime, but I'm sure people appreciate the fact that it is :).
  • I do a ton of crossplay and I actually have a sailor pluto cosplay, I just want to fit into it and look good doing it :P.
