Unfortunately, what they said ^^ however, I had the shelf-butt-syndrome as well and as I have lost the shelf has morphed into the under-butt. Ha. Just hang in there and it will eventually get better. Best of luck!

I weighed 337 when I started MFP. It told me 1650 to lose 2 pounds per week. I have it set to 1 pound a week now and it gives me 1900 (now I weigh 264) so, probably between 1600 and 2400 would be fine. I stick with chicken and steamed veggies a lot. All my breads and grains are whole wheat or whole grain. I switched from…

I hate my wings. I've actually lost 104 lbs now and still have about 80 left to go. My arms (and lower belly) are really giving me fits. To the point where when I set my elbow down on my desk it pinches my arm fat because it rolls down over my elbow. I sure hope it gets better.

My small win for today is being the only person to bring something really healthy to contribute to our office "tailgating party". I made Apple Slaw -- 125 calories per cup and it is yummy! Should go well with sausages wrapped in bacon, sausage balls, bratwurst, ribs, chicken wings and several kinds of cheese dip. LOL

The Arby's chicken salad sandwich on harvest wheat bread. Has grapes and apples in it. It's yummy too, I've had one. Dang thing is half my daily allowance of calories O_O

I sing quietly (I think) at the track with my headphones in. I stop if I pass someone though. =)

This may seem weird to some people but it works for me. I listen to Amy Winehouse when I go to the track. It's about the right tempo for me and it reminds me how short life is and how important it is to take care of yourself. I never listened to her before I started running.

Personally, I would preheat a cast iron skillet in a pretty hot oven. When I added the steaks I'd switch it over to broil. You should get a nice sear on each side this way. Should be fine. Good luck!
