I was thinking of mixing white wine with lemonad - make some spitzas! Only problem though, last time I drank white wine, it gave me some crazy heart burn!

Thanks for the replies people. Bacardi it is!

I might get smashed, as you said, my tolerance will be fairly low, it's just a case of what amount of booze will get me smashed! And yeah, I am going to be vigilant with my food intake, will make sure I get a decent amount of exercise in beforehand.

You could buy a soda stream (if they still actually make them) I buy sparkling bottled water sometimes, and then just dilute it with sugar free cordial of some kind. Tesco (here in the UK, not sure where you're from) do flavoured bottles of water, 1.5 litre, 8 calories in the whole bottle - a great substitute for Pepsi,…

Eggs Fruit (various different fruits) Bread (different kinds) I actually eat ALOT of the same foods on a daily basis. It would take me forever to list them all!

Hey man, I know how you feel. I joined ages ago and never took it seriously, until 7 months ago. Since then, I've lost 100+ plus lbs, still got about 50 to go! Feel free to add me!

My GF is vegetarian, and she introduced me to the veg patty and it really is delicious! Especially with red onion and light mayo on it!

12 inch turkey breast, on 9 grain bread, with lettuce, red onions, green peppers, jalapenos and gherkins! Throw on some sweet onion sauce or honey mustard - only about 520 calories for the whole thing! WIN!

^^^^ What this guy said If you ate 1500 calories worth of bacon and doughnuts, you would probably still be hungry, due to the small amount you would have in comparison to fruit/veggies, etc. I too dislike having to eat "clean" constantly, depriving myself of foods I enjoy, as opposed to foods that are "good" for me, but I…

I pay £2.75 for a dozen eggs, which is something like $5! I never really thought whether that was cheap or expensive, as you said before, I rarely think about the price of stuff I buy from the supermarket, until now that is anyway!

Rachel - thanks for that! I'll deffo check them links out. I swim (mainly) the breast stroke, I do freestyle (front crawl) occasionally when the pool is near enough empty, as I seem to thrash about a lot, and I'm very concious of how I look whilst doing it! ( I can't see what I look like whilst I'm doing it, lol) Someone…

You're self conscious about eating salads? Hahahahahahahahaha
-
It varies.

Used to love watching wrestling as a kid. Power rangers - all the "in" stuff! Loved paranormal stuff, too. Although, I'd end up freaking myself out at night!
-
Get a book called "Less Incomplete" Learn about lucid dreaming - really interesting stuff!

I was the same as you when I started. I was paranoid about eating ANYTHING that could be classed as "unhealthy" or something that had high fat, sugar, sodium - whatever. A few months later I calmed down a bit, and started allowing myself to have things without feeling guilty about it. It did help, actually, I can turn…

I'm not too sure what to suggest. I'm kind of confused.

Of course it is. I don't go out of my way for takeaway's anymore, but the rest of my family do. At first, I used to refuse, but now I get something. Usually once a week, tbh. Chicken fried rice, chips and curry sauce with prawn toast. <<< The ultimate Chinese takeaway!

If you lift in a gym, see if the machines have a data key that plug into the machines before you start your reps, they log your calorie burn for weight lifting. If you're doing free weights, then I have no idea how to track calories burned, aside from using a HRM, which I hear is inaccurate with weight training.

If you're maintaining weight with your food choices, then try eating less, as opposed to changing up your entire food choices.
-
Well, if you eat under 1200 calories daily, MFP suggests it is too low. 1200 is too low, IMHO, but 1200 is the absolute minimum MFP suggests. If you're not hungry after eating calories that won't even cover your BMR, then fine. It's your health you're putting in the firing line.

When I started at my gym, I was kind of nervous, wouldn't say intimidated, but after a while it became the norm. My gym membership also includes the swimming pool and steam/sauna room, now I find I use the swimming pool ALOT more than the gym. So perhaps you could try swimming if you have a facility nearby? Most of my…

LOL, no you're not. You can eat whilst in bed, 5 minutes before you go to sleep - it makes no difference.

Well my weight loss is down to tracking my calories and taking up swimming. I usually swim 5 times a week, Monday to Friday (if time is on my side) but I learnt early on about water weight and sodium. I used to get irritated when the scale magically notched up a few LBS overnight, so if I see an increase in weight on the…

Could be water retention. A 5lb fluctuation is a common thing, especially if you have eaten processed foods, things with a lot of salt/sodium in. You really shouldn't beat yourself up over it. Also, as someone else mentioned, make sure you know the actual weight/nutritional value of what you're eating, etc. Not sure how…

That's brilliant progress. You should be proud of yourself.

To build muscle, you need to eat a surplus of calories. Whilst weight training and eating a deficit in calories, you're going to hold onto already existing lean muscle, whilst just shedding fat. Which will result in a slower weight loss, but a more defined figure. If your goal was to just lose weight, you could probably…

I'd class things like McDonalds, sweets/candy and fast food as junk food. Just to name a few.
-
I got overweight from sitting on my backside, playing too much Xbox and eating the wrong foods. Damn you Call of Duty!

I'd work out on Christmas if the gym/swimming pool was open later that night. Not sure how working out on certain days could qualify one as a douche!!
