  • As I lose weight along the way I reward myself with new clothes. As for my final reward I can't decide between a tattoo that I have been wanting to get or a vacation. We'll see when the time comes. Quite frankly I might need new boobs when I'm done because mine are GONE!
  • Spinach, avocados, brocolli, zucchinni, oranges, pineapple, josephs flax seed pitas, tuna, chicken breasts, ground turkey, eggs, greek yogurt, salsa herbs and spices. That is just a start- I usually plan my meals for 3-4 days/nights and then base my list around my recipes.
  • Sounds like you were on quite a roller coaster on your vacation. Get back on your normal schedule tighten up your diet this week and I bet you will see a major drop. Sounds like your body was just a bit confused. It would be difficult to put on a 'true' 6 pounds unless you really gorged on some food!
  • :) LOVE the Eat less CRAP and Eat more FOOD!
  • You are blowing your calories on empty foods: Crunchy peanut bar, coffee creamer, dressing, french fries, syrup, chocolate chip cookies, pizza, bread sticks, and cake. You need to look at whole foods not these packaged waste of calories. The 300 calories you ate in cookies you could have had a well balanced meal of chicken…
  • check out http://www.cleaneatingmag.com They have awesome, easy recipes.
  • I have made boxed brownies just omitting the oil. Add the other ingredients on the box and bake. They don't need as long to bake and they will not keep once they are baked more than a day or so...but you cannot taste the difference.
  • I like to put them in soups. (About 10-15 minutes before the end of your cooking time add the greens) I also like to just sautee with garlic. Serve like you would sauteed spinach.
  • 1. bananas (smoothies) 2. frozen berries 3. Chicken breast or turkey breasts 4. Greek yogurt (Fage 0%) 5. Oatmeal (Steel Cut)
  • I made this tonight and it was a hit with the whole family. Thank you for coming up with this recipe and sharing, it is definitely going on the faves list!
  • How about no garlic bread since there are enough carbs in the lasagna? Have a nice sald on the side.
  • When I make tuna salad for lunch I use greek yogurt. If it's for a sandwich I usually use mustartd with avocado or make your own spread with fat free plain yogurt and different spices. You can also use hummus as a sandwich spread.
  • Hummus, red pepper relish, avocado mashed like guacomole.
  • I feel like I live in the bathroom for all the water I drink.
  • spinach, you can add it to so many recipes.
  • Enter the entire meal into the recipe tool and then add it to your diary. There is no way to know how much of the 1/4 cup you ate. I am the chef of the family and every "meal" we eat goes into the recipe tool so I know exactly how much I am eating.
  • I hit the gym early, enjoyed a nice hot bubble bath to relax my super sore legs, coffee and the Sunday paper. Then I am off to lunch with a friend. I already looked up the menu/nutrition stats and have my meal planned out and entered in my food log. I love my friend because she is very like minded and appreciates smart…
  • If you eat well you will feel well. Save your money, and sanity by not doing a detox. Check out this website for whole nutritious recipes. http://www.cleaneatingmag.com Plan your meals at the beginning of the week and shop for just those items. If you don't have junk and temptations around you won't want them.
  • Do you stay under your calories often? I am always under my net because I hardly ever eat all of my calories...
  • yes, there are definitely days where I am hungrier than others. I think you stated in your post that you are not eating back your exercise calories--you should (at least some). MFP has already accounted for a deficit in your calories if you were to just eliminate food, but when you exercise you create an even bigger…
  • Most plateus can be shaken by doing something different. Alter your workout, change what foods you're eating. If you tend to eat the same thing everyday try to switch it up. Our bodies get very efficient very quickly so you have to constantly change it up. As far as eating your workout cals, I usually eat some but not all…
  • Welcome to DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) all of the above ideas are great. I also recommend still working out but at a much slower/intense pace. If it is your legs that are really sore work your upper body and do mellow cardio. The less you move the more stiff you will get. Definitely load up on extra protein to…
  • Starting to notice the striations (sp?) in my shoulders, love that!
  • Someone hung their stuff in the locker next to mine (our lockers are not solid, they have round decorativ holes) and their clothes and belongings reaked so bad of cigarette smoke that when I pulled my stuff out to take a shower my stuff reaked too! Talk about gross!! Another one that gets me everytime is there is a lady…
  • How many times did Conda roll her eyes? I mean, really, I can't get over how immature she is. It is sad to watch the unnecessary hostility on that team. This season is so drastically different with the lack of team support from previous seasons.
  • If your diet is as on track as you make it sound, what does your exercise routine look like? Are you doing the same workout you have always done? You should be changing up your workouts to keep your body in constant state of change. If you are only doing cardio, switch it up and lift. You need to keep your body guessing...
  • Hi Chris. I too eat clean and find I feel much better because of it. I workout 6 days a week. I do a combo of strength and cardio. There is a great website for eating clean recipes. It is called http://www. cleaneatingmag.com I love their recipes! They list all the nutrition stats with every recipe so you know exactly what…
  • all you have to do is mix the cake mix with any diet soda. Chocolate works well with Diet coke while the lighter/fruit cakes work with diet sprite.
  • I weigh in everyday but I count it once a week. I feel like it keeps me on track if I know where I stand everyday.
